SISU will not operate CCFC without their demands on the Ricoh being met. The due dilligence period stated by the council will be around 60 days which takes us up to early August. The embargo will be in place for that duration without doubt.............Why are people even talking about signings under these circumstances. Even if/when it is lifted it will have ensured at least that almost all targets will have gone elsewhere which will suit the hedge fund just fine.
Ash - the due diligence is just a smoke screen because it is perfectly clear that the even if Higgs Charity and SISU do strike a deal the Council will veto it because they know SISU cannot be trusted nor are in any way in it for the good of the arena and the development of north Coventry. The talk of transfers and extended season ticket deals is just to temp loyal fans into parting with their hard earned cash - just watch how the spin out Keogh leaving and Cranie not signing. It will be a mirror of the brilliant way they handled the Marlon saga.
I'm right with you Jan, I think I've made my feelings very clear for a long time now. I really do think the stalemate that is inevitable will mean the plug being pulled by these vermin...........I think we should prepare for liquidation, its as bad as that. The only alternative is for everyone to give into every SISU demand now and in the future.
Ash - I am 100% in agreement with you and am personally convinced that when the deal falls through for the 50% of ACL (wish bloody CT would stop talking about selling the stadium as its not what the deal is about) the SISU wil simply fold the club having flogged off any saleable assets - ie the few remaining players of any value. That is why the Trust is exploring alternative strategies for when this happens - I wish people would wake up and realise these people are going to kill our club sooner rather than later and we have to be ready to pick up the pieces.
