Don't think we will get away with a change of manager this time.... (1 Viewer)

AT picked the team that I think most people would have selected on Saturday. He tried changing tactics which worked for 10 mins until we then conceded another 2 goals because we have no more established defenders to select.

Looking at the back 4 we finished with (out of necessity) would a change of manager really help us?

Possibly.

My main concern is that we have this huge gap between the front two and the midfield. This appears to be a tactic. Cody and Juke playing apart too.

Think a change of tactics by a new manager could help somewhat, though I do still think we would struggle and be close to the bottom 3 come the end of the season.

I don't really mind if AT goes as tbh I'm not his biggest fan. But I just look at the back 4 we finished with and think jees we are desperate. We need money and I almost feel it would be morally wrong to sack AT because frankly we were luck to only conceed 4.

I thought it was nice to see a kid getting bled in a big match tbh. Kind of "we aint gona do any worse than that 1st half performance".

Well for me, I was just overjoyed that we scored 2 goals in a game. At the mo that is like us getting to Wembley.

I think AT did better in this match than say Burnley but it still seemed like muddled thinking. By his own admission he changed the formation two or three times in the first half alone. Now whilst applauding his reaction to the situation perhaps a more tactically aware manager may have only made one change in formation?. Lots of changes confuses players, takes time to bed in and leaves us vulnerable for periods. After asking why he doesnt react before it is hard to criticise when he does.

He hasnt motivated our so called more experienced players to perform at a consistently high enough level and that to me is the biggest worry. He is apparently a great motivator but somehow that doesnt seem to be happening for some players. It is telling I think that the player highlights this season are all about the youngsters - the fact they get in the team will motivate them but the disappointments are generally the older players

Too many games there is plenty of possession but no passion or desire..... lots of pretty safe football but no risks taken by the players to win the game. That is down to the players, managers & coaches. I have never seen such a bland CCFC team in all my years watching - the only high spot is the potential of the young lads !

We are bland. Sums us up perfectly. We are like a boxer without a killer punch. All we do is spar nicely for 10 rounds and then get knocked out.

we scored two goals which is a major postive in terms of our previous records this season. we have bled four goals against a very good team but its another defeat and the league table does not lie, we are joing bottom and this month is going to get worse.

We will be bottom i think after the next two games. 2nd place West Ham and 4th place Cardiff. Think our record against Cardiff of late at the Ricoh is piss poor.

1-2
1-2
0-2
0-0
2-2

Doesn't bode well that does it.

I wouldnt bet against Gunnar & Turner scoring either. I really dont see us picking any points up in November. By December we could be alone at the bottom of the table in 24th
