Probably me getting impatient and bored, but didn't deals, news etc always seem to happen on a Thursday.

Hadn't heard anything (and was hoping to) about Hamer yet, and was wondering if the 'Thursday' theme may start today?

Wasn’t that just a joke? Something to do with people getting excited after the club tweeted there was “news” coming up, just for it to be the weekly press conference before a match

Always seemed to coincide with the Telegraphs bigger paper, where they had the big job vacancy pull out section, cars for sale section, whats on guide, etc.
Was always worth buying a Telegraph on a Thursday...

Guess we won't hear much until the Championship and Prem League seasons end. Should be a number of players being touted and released after then. MR will have a fun budget shopping day picking his team after that.
