Think you'll find that Duffer, and Chiefdave banged on almost exclusively against Sisu and were pro-CCC for years.

They, like pretty much everybody, are still Anti-Sisu, but have, after the whole Wasps thing, and some subsequent revelations, decided that maybe others have a few questions to answer.

Come on LS, don't say things like that, you'll have Nick on their case relentlessly now, as he is with Italia... You know people aren't allowed to change their minds....

I think there's a difference with changing your mind after looking at the evidence and revelling in the demise of CCFC and actually "celebrating" a franchise team in Coventry.

Something I've been guilty of myself, havinga go at some opf the most uber Sisu out posters, who were the most vocal Sisu in posters for years before.

Ginetta especially, he's just an idiot.

His "Proud of the Council" for selling to Wasps merely one of the idiotic strands to him.

Surely there is a difference in the way opinions changed. Following everybody else or taking the time to look at things?

imho anyone who enters politics has their own hidden agenda,
'snout in the trough' scenario,
so i'm not surprised at CCC alleged antics,
but more so, i'm against hedge funds, and always have been,
by nature they declare themselves as asset strippers,
what hurts the most is it's OUR football club that they are dismantling,
& they put forward a succession of untrustworthy characters who care nothing for Coventry,
but the FA & FL need to be scrutinised through parliament,
oops here we go the vicious circle,

Because he changes his mind on a whim, spunks off about it then realises he looks a prat;

Supporting SISU/ then Hating SISU
Not going to support Franchise Football/ then Supporting Wasps
Given up on CCFC/Im their biggest fan/think we are back to given up again

Maybe Nick. Although sometimes I can take a view based on my immediate thoughts, but when I see counter arguments, if they make sense, I am happy to switch my own views. Is that "following everybody else" or just realising your first view was wrong?

If you have seen counter arguments, looked at the evidence etc then fair play to you.

If you have seen somebody shout it on Twitter or here with no actual idea about it I'd say it is just following them.

I like most supporters of the Sky Blues want this club to be successful, but we all know with Sisu in charge this is not going to happen NOPM is the only way to get rid of these parasites . As for ccc/acl this should be investigated at a Government level as it looks like misdoings has taken place and the People/Tax payers of Coventry have the right to known whats gone on.

Fucking pathetic, seriously. I think you should maybe just go and stay on Twitter.

Council obsession cringeworthy? Have you seen the images people make about sisu Have you seen people making tick lists?

It is amazing how relevant Wasps / CCC / Higgs are when it is making SISU look bad isn't it? Yet when they look bad and anybody mentions "it is nothing to do with CCFC"

It's because there are about 6 of you dragging this on. The deal is done, the only deal possible for the council to take. So what if they double bluffed SISU for the sake of saving a Coventry asset. You and your cronies are clutching at straws and it's approaching support for Sisu. Even they can't be bothered to mouth off about it.

Sisu battle on with a plan to Oblivion for CCFC. IMHO again a few follow Sisu plan blindly and it appears to be the same that followed it to Northampton.
Get some balls.

The winky thing on my post should have shown that it was a bit of a fun dig at Nick, not defending Italia. but...

Supporting SISU/ then Hating SISU

isn't that true for most CCFC supporters? There is only a couple of posters on here that I know were concerned when SISU took over (although i have noticed some others trying to make the same claim since....), the rest very supportive. Most now see that those few were right to be concerned, and now hate/dislike/abhor SISU (use whatever term suits you)

Not going to support Franchise Football/ then Supporting Wasps

I never considered our move to Northampton as franchise football, however what do you class as support? I have been to many Neutral games of football over the years, but I wasn't I supporting either of the teams. I may go to see Wasps at some stage, I may not. It will be nothing to do with franchising, more to do with having a good day out with mates. I attend a few Cov games during the season for the same reason.

Given up on CCFC/Im their biggest fan/think we are back to given up again

Me and my mates used to think that after every game we lost, and that was a lot ( although not seriously) but I can understand why people would think that now, and be serious. Maybe the reduction in crowds at games proves that?

This is hilarious though:

Get some balls? What are you on about? It must take real balls on that bandwagon you love to sit on so much.

Nobody is following SISU's plan, I am going to put it down to you not being able to read properly or just maybe not understanding what is going on around you.

People are trying to find the truth, what ACTUALLY happened. Not just listening to people like you reel off loads of bollocks all the time.

Maybe you should get some balls next time you go to post a sob story next.

I think the OP has got it spot on. The majority of fans are simply bored stiff with all the off-field nonsense. They just want to see a decent team, and for it to be given a chance to succeed with decent management and getting in a few decent players.

The usual halfwit Sisu apologists may still want to bang on about the council but that ship has sailed long ago, and it sailed without Sisu. The owners may continue to pursue all their hopeless legal nonsense but it is just another way of alienating supporters.

Go on then, I'll bite. Point me to a SISU apologist, it's just that I don't think I've seen one hereabouts.

And the ship hasn't sailed as much as been sold to another crew from out of town. I wouldn't presume to talk for the majority, but just because you're bored of it doesn't mean that there aren't quite a few still happy to debate the rights and wrongs of such a move and its likely impact. Feel free to ignore those threads if that hurts your feelings for some reason.

You ignore the JR verdict but pick up and fight the Sisu cause from a few newspapers quotes. Classic.

Because nothing has happened since the JR Verdict has it? I am not saying it will change anything, I still want to know the truth no matter who it is.

I am by no means saying "oh they did this, they should kick wasps out and let sisu have it, they can charge us 5 million rent, it would be amazeballs".

You seem to ignore people contradicting something totally they said a few months ago, maybe because you are the master at it.

The difference is you have to look harder to see people other than SISU doing wrong don't you?

I'm a bit staggered here at the levels of logic shown.

This 'SISU apologist' stuff is frankly utter and complete bullshit. Being upset with what the council has done in selling to Wasps is clearly not the same as suddenly supporting everything our crap owners have done. If you seriously believe that it is, then you need to take a deep breath and think again, because your brain has stopped functioning properly. You might want to give it a few hours before you operate heavy machinery if you're suffering from this kind of hallucination.

Open challenge: Point at the person you're calling a 'SISU apologist' and link to the post where they've apologised for SISU. Or give it a sodding rest and accept that it's a ridiculous phrase to use towards at least 99.9% of posters here.

The same could be said about "council lovers". I think you would struggle to find a poster that has never said anything bad against the council.

As much as I'm still seething about this wasps deal, it is strange that les reid is making "exclusives" out of old news.

We know they were pushing for the freehold (he reported it after all) and then said they would be interested in a long lease.

We know that lucas said a deal with sisu would be done "when hell freezes over." Nothing new here.

Is it diversion? I'm fed up of it all to be honest. This journalism war is worth fuck all to us now. The council fucked us over, while sisu still prove daily they are piss poor at running a football club. Happy to waste money on appeals though.
