Why do people get so irate when you ask them not to go to Sixfields ? And while im on it , why do you have to say you take a small child or an uncle thats supported city since the 1920s? Nobody is ordering them not to go , just ASKING them not to go .

In light of today's judgement and change in circumstances, it does have renewed relevance.

Today is different. There is now no justification for any support for Northanpton. The players don't want it or the fans and the Council are party to dialogue. The judge has told is that the Council have not broken the law and so it remains for our club owners to return to Coventry and maximise the sporting fortunes of the club so we can compete honestly.
They can then inform the FL where the new ground is going to be - in two years time!

I think ASKING (or rather shouting/emotional blackmail) fans not to go an support their team is the wrong argument aimed at the wrong people. Going to Sixfields is a symptom of where we are at, not the cause.
Perhaps we are pawns

I just want Coventry back at the ricoh. After today it seems the only reason we are not there is due to personal arrogance and not for me and you, the fans.

It has been a waste of time and money all for nothing. We both want Coventry in Coventry so why should we go to Northampton?

You have the right to go, but surely the fact that we didn't need to move there as ACL were not trying to get CCFC out makes you think twice ?
Sisu are effecetively using the club to get what THEY want. Good luck.

I have never been either, but as you are more keen on telling everyone of the fact, I have written to the Royal Mint to see if they will forge you a commemorative medal.

When SISU are gone, I can hold my head up high and say I supported the team through the hard times whilst you sat on your arse making empty threats about the club being dead to you, whilst I was driving 35 miles in the winter, on a Sunday etc etc

Well done, supporting the club through events that should never of happened and done only for personal gain and proved to be a complete waste of everyone's time and money. Sisu love people like you and that sits well with me.

oh I dont know, last season we played the best football in years and i would have regretted not seeing some of those games even if it was at Sixfields. The club still exists - you can all put your fingers in your ears and scream but thats a fact.

You don't have the right to question anyone's support.

I like your last sentence but we all want Coventry playing at the Ricoh and today has proved the only reason that is not the case is because sisu wanted the "ricoh on the cheap" judges words and mine. Plan for the best part of the year was to move out and distress acl and pick it up on the cheap and now they can never do it so time to all move on and back for all us supporters to call for home and support together.
