That phrase and its reporting, as well as the legal letter, would suggest The Trust have been targeted ... just part of the war of attrition...

Thats how i see it also. Clearly been singled out, and the letter came directly after the agressive comments from Fisher at the fans meeting a few days earlier.

Fisher is clearly not incompentent. He is there for a reason, and that is to ensure Sisu investors make money. The football, and therefore the club, is an irrelavance in all this. If it wasn't, then the club would be in a much healthier position, both location and "on the field" wise, and Sisu would not be threatening fans groups with potential legal action.

Would it be fair to say,he's not very good in football terms ?

No, on the contrary he has been very good in football terms - steadied the ship after Thorne - appointed 2 good managers, kept the academy going, loan signings, given autonomy to Waggot, reduced the clubs ridiculous outgoings etc - he is probably quite a good sports administrator.

Where his record is questionable is that he has acted in the interests of his paymasters instead of the club and its supporters. Whether that will be worth it in the long run is still to be seen.

Need to do much, much better than just calling him names on a discredited message board.
The hysterical threat of legal action by SISU for reprinting the Guardian article shows there is a weak spot to pick at..why not start there?

So discredited you feel obliged to use the medium to get you message across.

At least they're all City fans with the clubs interests at heart. Which is more than you can say for Fisher.

Shameful to resort to suing and insulting your customer base really.

Pointless when you reduce the clubs income by a far greater amount.

In other news I hear British Leyland reduced their outgoings to zero last financial year. They must be doing really well now. No doubt we will soon be seeing Triumphs, Austins, and Wolseleys dominating Britain's roads again soon.

Wonderful. Could you just answer the question of why a freehold resolution is the only viable solution and is beneficial for our club in the long term and I'll be on board. Oh and for a bonus, why is it better for the club to stay in Northampton over the latest Ricoh offer while we build?

WHAT?!!! Ignoring the nonsensical British Carmaking metaphor, you dont think it is sensible for the Club to have reduced its outgoings when playing in League One?
Bet you were the bloke who asked why we were not spending £40M to get back into the Prem at the fans forum last year.

If reducing outgoings means reducing income by a far greater amount then no.

I am willing to have a bet with you that losses now are far greater than this time last year.

The club has abandoned us remember. I'm still here, ready to support my Coventry based team.

Sisu have forced our club commit an act of treachery against out city, and for that I will never forgive them

Am I taking it a bit seriously? Well lets just say that for me the most important quality in any person or organisation is loyalty. 10-15k people were extremely loyal to the club. No matter how bad it got, we were there supporting the club, asking for nothing in return other than it represented our city. In return the club has ignored the loyalty of those people, and said up yours to them.

The club (under Sisu) has thrown back a lifetime of loyalty into the faces of 15k people.

I'm not stopping you from going. If you enjoy it then go. But for me loyalty is the one thing you don't piss about with.

EXACTLY so now is the time to demonstrate that famous loyalty - Get down to Sixfields, show some dignity that the club is better than any tinpot owners - its OUR club, dont let them have the last laugh. Go and support the team - get 7000 thousand down there banging on the gates when its full -whaT WOULD THEY DO THEN? - THAT is true fan power to change things. At the moment you are affecting nothing.

What would they do? Tim Fisher would be laughing his capacious tits off, that's what they would do.

Like I say, the loyalty has been broken. I, and many others would and have put up with pretty much anything so long as they were part of our city. The club has abandoned our great city, and that to me is treachery.

If the club was serious in its loyalty to its fans it would do anything to play in this city again.

If you don't get how the loyalty has been broken then its pointless me explaining it.

Like I say, family, friends, workplace, my city, my country, I will forgive most things but betrayal is not one of them.

Its not a betrayal, its a shit situation but just a culmination of a lot of bad decisions - by taking it so personally you are letting SISU win.

It is a betrayal.

Your saying fans should stick by the club through thick and thin. I don't disagree with that, but the same must apply to the club.

Yet what has happened is it got a bit difficult for the club to play in Coventry, so it ran off.

You cant get much more of a definition of betrayal than that.

Fair point that, why the hysteria? What has narked them?

If everyone tweeted that link, and also to the media and fa, or liked it on facebook...and everyone you knew re-tweeted it, and liked it on facebook .... wouldn't that be hysterical

Yeah, this seems to be a part of the media campaign, any forum or organisation not behind SISU's plans is labelled 'discredited' or 'extreme' or such like, while those behind them get heavily positive promotion in the local media, mainly courtesy of the biased (in my opinion) Les lReid.
