Hello everyone

First, can I introduce myself I am the Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) at Doncaster Rovers. I am here just to post a quick message and some information regarding your visit to the Keepmoat Stadium.

On Saturday the Coventry fans will be allocated our North Stand, which holds around 3300 fans. If you travel without a ticket, you will be able to purchase these from our 'Club Doncaster Academy' which is located next to the away end, myself and the stewards will be able to direct you if you need help. However I would advise purchasing in advance.

Parking is available at the stadium in car park 3 at the price of £5. Disabled parking spaces can be booked through the clubs Box Office by calling 01302 762576.

Once you have arrived at the Keepmoat there will be food and drink available in the ground, the turnstiles will be open from around 4pm.

Outside of the club shop we will be holding a Foodbank collection, if you have anything you could possibly spare please bring it along and donate to a very worthy cause.

We have also this season launched a ‘Family Section’ in the away end. Before the game kids can participate in fun, skill-based activities which include football drills and penalty practice. A face painter will be available as well as a games console to show off their FIFA skills.

Below is a link to our away fans guide that was produced by the club with information regarding the Keepmoat and the surrounding areas. If you have the time it is well worth a read.

If you have any questions then please leave a comment, my email address is dean.medcalf@clubdoncaster.co.uk or you can tweet me at @drfc_away.

Thank you for your time and I hope that you all have a safe journey.

Kind Regards
Dean Medcalf
Supporter Liaison Officer
Doncaster Rovers FC

Fair play, the family zone in the away area is a good idea too if there's enough take up for it

Every club has an SLO, it is a UEFA requirement. Your registered SLO is Mark Hornby.

On a not so serious note.

If somebody was to shit in a bag and throw it from the away end, would it be possible to reach the home end?

We have had a few. There was one very generous Oxford fan who brought a large amount.

Can you imagine ours?

'You'll be ripped off for parking. Once at the ground you won't find a club shop as it doesn't exist. Overpriced food and drink may or may not be available depending if Wasps can be bothered.'

Our club shop consists of a Skyblue cupboard on wheels. Just goes to show how far we have fallen!

Can you please ensure you bring hard hats for safety reasons (careful of flying objects) these will be distributed on your coach to wear on your return to coach in the case of your team winning - If you are travelling by train there is a wonderful brand new state of the art train station right outside the ground but please be patient and ensure you bring your sleeping bag and food as the first train is Monday morning

How refreshing is this entire bloody attitude? Ricoh could learn a thing or two!

Did "Mark Hornby" (for it is he) post a message on the DRFC forum before the home game, i wonder??

Good on you Dean!

Unless Hornby is an ACL employee he couldn’t as they deal with such matters the club has little jurisdiction over it on match days

Would it be possible to arrange boat trips along the canal for away fans next year? Maybe we could include a free drink or two?
