Can't see a thread anywhere.

Darren Ferguson, Doncaster manager, has said they have to win all of their remaining 3 games to survive. We obviously have to win the game to stand any chance of being in the play-off place mix, therefore a massive 6 pointer of a game.

Won love a win, but think both sides could end up frustrated. 1-1. Armstrong finally back on the scoresheet.

I had two free tickets for the home end but couldn't bring myself to sitting in there. 2-2

Surely a six pointer is a game between two teams with similar aspirations and not either end of the table?

I do indeed know what a 6 pointer is.

In this circumstance though I mean in terms of it being an all or nothing, not that there is a 6 point shift between the 2 teams.

Maybe could have phrased it differently. Wasn't attempting to speak of a normal 6 pointer. I just meant that it is so much more than a 3 point game, because it is pretty much an all or nothing game.

Defeat for Doncaster and they are almost certainly down. Defeat for us and the end of any lingering play-off hopes.

Shouldn't have called it a 6 pointer, but it is so much more than just a 3 point game because of what rests in the outcome.

Yeah, not what I meant. See above. More important than just a 3 point game, so feels like a 6 pointer, as the stakes are so high.

Is that better?

Usually up 2 days before aren't they?

And seriously, do you think for a single second that I need to keep my post count up? Ha, ha!

Have you seen it? I am already at eleventy billion, so I have no need to keep any count up, trust me.

Hmmm tight game, probably just the one goal in it. Could go either way.

I agree and Doncaster have shown a minor upturn in recent form, notably beating Wigan a few weeks ago.

They need it it more than us but the desire shown by the boys in the last two games has been somewhat surprising, tough call but I'm going to say 1-0 to Donny.

Well yeah, but it really does help us that Doncaster have to win.

Our play-off aspirations are a long shot and there is no real pressure on us, as the 50/1 tag would clearly illustrate. Doncaster on the other hand simply have to win.

Think that might help us. We do have to be really up for the game though, no half measures. If we don't show the right application and desire we could well get blown away by them.

When two mid-table teams meet is it a no pointer?

I think we'll scrape a draw which I think after all other results will put us out any any severely remote lingering play off hopes.
As I have said somewhere before draw there normally a good result not enough for us now though sadly.

Would like to see Tudguy start bur cannot see it happening not too sure who is going to start now - Rose may get the nod after midweek goal to start just not sure who he replaces.....probably Madders or Cole.

Yep! And when it's two women's teams playing, it's the Pointer Sisters.

Doncaster were a joke a couple of weeks ago, they've shown a bit of fight the last two matches though so can see a close fought game,

Let's hope we can keep the upturn going. I won't say form because we are still not convincing, which was how it was when we squirmed our way into the top three. I am not being negative, just calling it how I see it. Best season in aged and better than I expected.

Back from Peak district just for this one and then over to Wales next week.
Can't say I'm excited about the match.

would love us to beat them and confirm their relegation after all the crap we've had against them. Still remember them turning it round at the Ricoh last season and their fans rubbing it in massively after the game. That felt like one of the lowest points under Pressley

That was a Mowbray match, the little prick Clarke-Harris scored for Doncaster as well.

Yeah you're right. Thought we were doomed though. To be honest most of last season has drifted into either Gillingham at home or shit.

I think it's still mathematically possible with 2 wins and a defeat (as long as we beat Sheff U) but I think that would be classed as unrealistic lol

I think we will win tomorrow ans relegate Donny. Karma for when they relegated us back on 2012.

Going for the same scoreline too: 2-0 Cov

I hope I'm proven wrong but I can see us losing this one. Doncaster need the points much more than we do and we usually play poorly against the lower teams. If Armstrong can come alive, we could win it, but I'm predicting a 2-1 defeat.

I can't see it happening either because we don't have a player called Tudguy.
