However if they choose to wait they are more likely to be let go in January due to the higher value. Unless they sign with a clause of being allowed to leave if a Premier club approaches. I imagine they would sign for a decent pay rise and a promise they can leave for proper money/insertion of a release clause. Whether there’s money in the pot for the raise is another thing obviously.
