Definition : when a player has perfected the art of getting an opposition player through blatant cheating.
Not for the first time.
A very good player who really shouldn't need to do this. He went down far too easily when we had him, but he's now moved on to another level.

I don't get why the arsenal player wasn't going mental at him.

He tried to dive later on when they scored as well.

Yes, when Vardy scored at the end. Wasn't mentioned at all. It's about time Maddison was sent off for this . Seems to be something creeping in all over the league, but Maddison has perfected it. Cheating bastard.

He was sent off for it earlier in the season. He apologised then, obviously didn’t mean it.Its cheating and it shouldn’t happen.
As an aside, just watching MOTD, as both the Leicester and the Man Utd games were coming to an end, I was amazed at the amount of empty seats from people who had decided to “beat the rush”. The Utd game was in the balance and Leicester were beating Arsenal 3-0. Why leave early? I never can understand this. I don’t notice this so much from our fans although I did comment to my son that some of them were leaving early at Barnsley with the score at 2-2 and with us pushing for a win. Football is so expensive, why miss a chunk of the game?

Just run studs and give him something to dive about.

On the note of fans going, was there a dose of the shits at our game today? So many fans couldn't stay in their seat for more than 20 minutes. Much more than usual.

Madders was getting slated on MOTD last night and rightly so. He said he learnt his lesson after getting a second yellow for diving earlier in the season but he clearly hasn’t.

Maddison weighs about 9 stone (?) Playing the position he does. and how he does, he will be targeted a lot (most fouled player in The Championship last year). If you are going to get whacked by the likes of a 13 stone defender (employing Nick like tackling !!), it is hardly surprising that he rarely keeps his feet planted firmly on the ground. as he will miss half the season out injured. I don't agree with the diving (re: penalties etc) but don't blame the guy for self preservation tactics (Vinnie Jones he is not). Rather than hating the guy, we should be proud of a Cov kid who will hopefully earn us a few more £££s playing for England one day.

Thing is though there was no contact with the Arsenal player and then he rolled around as if there was a sniper and they’d shot him.

He got the guy sent off and in the post interview seemed to find it funny

There was a definite case of chunder for one lad in the block nearest the away support. I think he was in the process of being escorted out at the time, he was certainly escorted out after!

Here we go again with the old “Cov kid” crap. Stop making excuses for him. He’s got the full package now to boot-silly haircut, spray tan, white veneers and most importantly the tattoos! Looks nice when driving his Range Rover with his half sleeve resting on the door.

Only saw one clip of the tackle (the second one), and thought he'd caught him (obviously not from the comments here). Didn't see post match interview, but agree, not called for if smug. Still understand why he goes over 'easily' though with his style of play, and sure there is a degree of self protection about it.

Nearly every other player in the PL has the 'add on tats, flash car etc, and he's only a kid. Still not sure what's wrong with being happy that he's a local lad made good. Think he's a cracking player personally (also wish I had enough hair to create a silly haircut, but that's another story).

Should be punished post match and banned if proven to be blatantly cheating

Yep, bloke in Block 15, slightly to the left of me, chundered all over his face and jacket causing a slight evacuation of the people near him. Best bit was, he actually did it in his sleep. He was genuinely surprised when the steward woke him and pointed out what he had done! It did reek a bit!

Was this the same lad who then sat on the stairs spewing up for ages? I only saw him at that point, looked like a fairly young lad. Cant imagine he's feeling well today!

No. The incident I saw was a bloke in his 40's or 50's.

Plenty of people enjoying the end of season party then! Spewing on yourself whilst sleeping is a pretty grim way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I once chundered in my radiator at Uni, spent the entire winter being reminded of it.

Doesn’t help either when ex-pro pundits come out with statements like ‘the leg was there so he had the right to go over’.

Surely he can still get a ban after the game on video evidence for diving? Other players have so why shouldn't he?

If you get sent off and haven't touched them you should get a free 2 footer on your way off.
