I wonder if this will get as bunch coverage as the Huw Edwards story.

Probably not.

This story is starting to gain traction now.

He sounds like an awful, awful human being. Could get jail time for what he's done.

And used his slot on GBN this evening to complain about people trying to get others cancelled with pile ons. The fucking brass neck!

I don’t see what politics has to do with anything here really - as the Panorama programme showed it’s one thing that certainly crosses political boundaries

I don’t even know what he’s supposed to have done. Is he under arrest?

It seems to be making you very excited

If you think what he is alleged to have done is OK then that's up to you.

Personally I think it deserves jail time.

As I say I’ve no idea what he’s done or much about him

I don’t think though you can go to jail for allegations can you?

So why are you saying the police aren't investigating if you don't know anything about it. You can look it up if you want to know more, if you don't then fine, just don't comment on it.

As for your last question, once again, please take the time to actually read what you are replying to.

I thought it might be when I saw what the Mail and the Telegraph were putting on their front page this morning. Trying to reignite the Ferage bank story.

Feckin' Coutts. They won't let me bank with them either.

They say it's because I haven't got 3 million in my current account, but I think it's really because I was in the same room as Tony Benn, once.*

Cancelled. Waah!

*This is actually true, though admittedly it was also with a few hundred other people. It'd probably still get me kicked from the Labour party though, if I'd not left already...

Tbf a lot of the right wing nut jobs appear to have been allowed to get into positions of power recently, which is why the Johnson, Farage types are referenced just atm.

On a wider level, power often seems to translate to abuse. There's an interesting study in there to be done (or read!) about which personality traits allow that to happen.

Even right wing on right wing. GB News cancelled Guto Harri after he took the knee following the abuse the black England players took online after missing penalties. Didn’t matter that he’s a pro brexit, anti immigration Tory firmly on the right. Snowflakes.

It won't be long before we are begging people in Hong Kong (as well as other countries) to come here. In fact we will be competing for young people globally.

A catastrophic collapse in birth rate is predicted and already evident. So in a few years time or so there won't be enough school leavers entering the workplace to generate the tax or revenue to pay for all the pensioners, and NHS etc etc.

There is a possible solution however, and that's to start shagging more!!!

But having a perpetually increasing population is not a solution - it cannot be sustained.

We need to work out how not to be reliant on future generations being required to fund the needs of the current one.

Why can’t perpetually increasing population be a solution?

Inwhich case we need to rip up the way our society is structured and start all over again, or start killing people when they hit 75, 1 of the 2.

Easier said than done though.

We don't want to see populations increasing, but we also don't want to see catastrophic collapse, which is what is predicted.

Ideally a steady slow managed population reduction would be the answer, but that isn't happening.

Ever increasing demand for resources.
Dwindling rain forests, increasing demand for food and water, increased pollution etc etc.

In theory science should provide answers to the problems, but that's rarely happened.

Human population is likely to peak at 11/12 billion.
Population in Africa and Asia will likely double, whereas population in Americas and Europe likely to be stagnant…. How is that going to work given the resources.

Those figures don't break down into age ranges though, that's the problem.

Birth rates are plummeting, but the number of pensioners is rapidly growing. That's the issue. When the boomers of the 60's reach retirement, the problem will be unsustainable.

When those boomers die, the global population will fall, add into that the fact that human fertility is falling, and you realise that all the predictions are wrong.

Yeah that was my question, if we can get post scarcity then it’s not really an issue until we literally run out of space. AI gonna come in and solve everything in a decade anyway.

I would certainly agree that this is the case in Europe and America, less so in Africa and Asia though.

So Coutts had no problem being associated with a Brexit campaigner. They did with a Putin apologists though. Well that and the fact that lord haw haw no longer had the finances to qualify for the bank account he thinks he’s entitled too.
