Not if you're in the tory party and want shot of Jonhnson.

Indeed. The best way to make Sunak look competent and professional is to show Boris for exactly what he is. Sunak can’t run on his record, character assassination on Starmer isn’t cutting through, all he has left is at least I’m not Boris. The worse he can make Boris look the better he (Sunak) looks.

100% the individuals who promised to deliver PPE in the end middle of a pandemic only to rip off public purse and deliver shit (Malone). Unforgivable

Laura Kuenssberg just asking Gove a very valid question in that should the PM vote for the findings of the report simply to confirm his support for parliamentary sovereignty and the parliamentary process. You could argue that for all ministers. Simply abstaining is probably worse than voting against the findings in some ways, at least by voting on it you’re engaging in the parliamentary process.

It would also be a good opportunity for those in the party that want to remove any chance of Johnson returning to show the level of anti-Johnson support. Unfortunately MPs have always got more than one eye on themselves so probably wouldn’t want to rule out future positions if he did ever return. Shocking really.

Sunaks just trying to hold party together but should’ve whipped MPs and argue that those not willing to support parliamentary process/procedure should lose the whip and be replaced at next election. Johnson loving members/nutters would be in uproar though

Problem is he can’t do that for fear of triggering a GE. Boris did it when he first became leader for precisely that reason, he wanted a GE. Sunak is in the exact opposite position.

Although you are right. He should have whipped for the very reason you state.

He's also in still bafflingly popular among party members, so they'll have an eye on that.

No. Someone had these videos at the time and chose not to release them until they’d cause their enemy problems. I don’t think that is well played TBH.

These are staff not mp's at Christmas 3 years ago. It's akin to grassing up your neighbours for breaking lockdown rules, but because it carries the word Tory, everyone wants to crucify them.

Pritti Patel literally went on TV and told the public to grass on friends, family and neighbours who were breaking lockdown rules.

It’s crazy - just because they’re the people who want to govern us, set the lockdown rules, and punish those who don’t abide by them, suddenly people want to pay attention.

This is brilliant, you are genuinely almost in tears Brilliant

Anyway you dense twat if it was anyone else i.e. Labour or Lib Dem they would be getting rightly hammered as well not to mention the guy they worked for and who also attended said party as been given a peerage and the balloon in the shit braces has just got an MBE.

Anyone who was telling people they could see their dying family while holding admittedly shit parties is going get hammered for it.

Thankfully mates is one thing we'll never be. As for crying, really? Honestly couldn't give a flying but then I don't pretend to be ethical or moral to random people on a forum. I'd not care if it was Labour partying, in fact I hope they did. It was a shitty time for all concerned so if people managed to find some enjoyment good luck to them.

Not only are you not funny, but inaccurate and strangely obsessed with leamington. Even stranger to respond to me with it who is coventry born, lived most of my life in Warwick and none in leamington. Even more strange than someone pretending to be IRA massive and saying 'we' on an England cricket thread.

Keep trying, you'll get one right eventually like a stopped clock.

Well your argument that parties don’t matter and should be ignored is pretty seriously undermined when you run around waving invisible yellow cards at the ref as soon as the politicians you don’t like are accused of the same stuff.

It's only a very small number of headbangers still defending the government's behaviour during the pandemic now.

It really set the wheels in motion for their heavy defeat at the next election.

'nobody cares about parties'
