Thought that had been put on the back burner, was first mentioned years ago but had not heard anything since
This meaning the wider boundary review not just her seat

Suella Braverman's battle to save her seat in Tory Party showdown | Politics | News | Express.co.uk

The Home Secretary may have helped the Tories' electoral fortunes in the past month, but this week she faces a battle for her own future.

Cheers, I looked it up on the Boundary Commission, it's different from the proposals a few years back which merged a lot of constituencies to make larger ones meaning less MPs

Isn't just the normal BC tarting about with seat boundaries rather than the one Cameron wanted back in 2010

You and your usual lack of reality. When she joined the government they were on leading in the polls 47% to labours 31%. They’re now leading the polls on Labour by 27% to Labours 48% and have been consistently-20 points ahead of Labour for over a year.

If only the bloke here had been a Labour MP yet left the party to join another, or a Tory seeing the writing on the wall in his constituency, he'd be welcomed straight back in to the 'broad church'

The most bizarre thing about this is that they found the tweet or someone bothered to whistle blow

Reading up on Nellist it seems his first shared office in Westminster was with Blair

Lol that would be like Corbyn and Starmer together

“I’m Keir I’m named after the founder of the Labour Party”

“I’m Jeremy I believe in everything your namesake stood for”

“oh ok. I think I’m in the wrong room”

No, they are 2 different things

Campaigning for a non labour candidate has always been grounds for being expelled. It is one of the conditions you sign up to when joining.

The Corbyn era party did the same to Campbell.

No to be fair, just quit as a Labour MP and campaigned against them.

But then Starmer does love anyone that isn’t a socialist so it figures.

So the antisemetism had nothing to do with her leaving, and the apology had nothing to do with her returning?

Well she did receive some absolutely horrific abuse, but then it turned out if came from some right-wing nutters and not lefties in the party so who knows?

She went to Change UK first so no, it was nothing to do with "anti-Semitism" and I'm surprised you've bought that nonsensical yarn

And she left because she claimed the party was anti-semetic.

because you can be allowed back in and she wasn't a member when she ran as a lib dem.

it's really simple, you can be a former member of another party. what you can not do is campaign for another party while being a labour party member

it's not rocket science

No not rocket science to be fair… just shows that the leader will welcome anyone that isn’t a socialist.

In the meantime the public sector strikes for better pay and conditions, whilst Starmer is worried if he’s got enough flags on show in a press conference.

You can argue whether the rules are fair or consistent or not, and that's a different argument.

But that bloke broke the rules and got punished according to said rules. Berger didn't break the rules, and was allowed back in.

To be fair that guy even said he was trying to get deselected.

are there any stats for how many people have been kicked out of the party by year? There does seem to be a fair number of people on social media claiming they've been kicked out for liking a Green Party tweet 10 years ago and shit like that. Would be interesting to see how the numbers stack up

Wasn't Berger the one who claimed her local CLP wanting to hold a no confidence vote saying she wasn't supportive of the party or the leadership was anti-semetic only for her to join another party a few weeks later?
