Then there’s this

I think she’s just defended the decision to appoint this guy when questioned about it at PMQ’s

Is this is a second case?
What happened to the Aussie chap who had to answer to one of the American agencies?

How many factions are there now in the tory party?
They've always been at each others throats, as have Labour, but there seems to be a lot more splinter groups going at each other.

No clear power centre. So everyone’s hoping it’ll be them. Like when a leadership election is announced and a whole load of MPs you’ve never heard of decide to run cos their mates have told them they’re amazing.

Sounds like she’s pissed her party off during PMQ’s. Nothing to do with answering the opposition benches questions rather her own benches questions. They’ve been asking her to confirm various things won’t be cut and she seems to have made promises that none of them will leaving her own benches asking themselves exactly where are these cuts coming from. Almost looks like a set up from her own benches. She also allegedly gave the ERG reassurances during their meeting last night on the NI protocol and when asked by a member of the ERG to reaffirm those reassurances in the commons she’s not only declined but backtracked. It will be interesting to see how this pans out. It sounds like she’s saying one thing in one room and something different in the next just to get through it.

Standard throughout her career by all accounts. It’s one thing being flexible in your approach but it’s totally another not having any courage of your convictions. shambles !

Just seen that it’s not the guy who she’s appointed despite him being a lobbyist on behalf of the tobacco industry and a Libyan warlord, it’s another advisor who apparently briefed newspapers over the weekend beyond his brief including confessing that Truss thinks Sajid Javid is shit. About the only thing she’s got right.

So just to be clear, lobbyist who has an agenda on behalf of the tobacco industry and Libyan warlords = good and stays at the heart of government. Advisor who seems to have told the truth = bad and is out.

Prince Andrew hires Amber Rudd's former aide to spearhead PR

Prince Andrew has hired Jason Stein as his Communications Secretary. Mr Stein, 28, lost his job earlier this month when Ms Rudd quit as Work and Pensions Secretary.

It's fascinating. MPs voting with the government on fracking because they don't want their no confidence vote in the PM to lapse by having the whip withdrawn... so vote against the Tory manifesto, and for a Tory proposal because they don't believe in the proposal that they're voting for, and do believe in the manifesto.

Obviously!

What is going on ?! Is this a new tactic to get as many mates in cabinet positions before next election so they all get cabinet pay offs (do they get higher pension as well ?)

Chancellor gone
Home secretary gone
Only Cleverly left out of the three great offices of state.

Quite the reshuffle there from the PM.

Calling it now Braverman was on the Russian payroll in some roundabout way. All that weird anti-woke stuff she was always banging on about.
