It’s the one piece of advice he left in the office. When it’s all going to shit, go to Ukraine

After voting for Corbyn in 2017, he’s now gone full circle.
He voted for Boris in 2019 to get Brexit done for his kids and grandkids (which we told him we didn’t want)
Also… he won’t vote Labour because of Romanians stealing his job - (he’s had the same one for 12 years and months from retirement), or that ‘trannies can use ladies toilets’ even though he’s a) not a transsexual b) not a lady c) he’s a fucking hermit and never goes out.

You cannot reason with idiots, or convince them that their supply of news/propaganda is absolutely unhinged.

Pretty much everything my dad told me would happen if Labour got in power in 2019 has since happened...

Trashed economy
High inflation
Obscene wastage of public money
Strikes
Rubbish piling up on the streets

I'm a BBC man through and through, but normally listen to Radio Bloke (5 Live) or Radio White Middle Aged Bloke (6 music), rather than Radio 4.

Can some of the more erudite and educated amongst us please post a summary of what happens to the sacrificial tory offered up to the Today programme tomorrow please?

Speaking of 'mildy lefty lib dems', there's a long think piece that needs to be written about how NIck Clegg enabled this whole fucking shitshow.

I'd do it myself but I need to get to my volunteer shift at the foodbank.

Yep, he's to blame for Brexit too.

Anyway, public spending set to be frozen for several *years*.

Would have happened a long time ago in plenty of other countries.

But this is a whole other level. Completely fucking the economy and then going into hiding. Something needs to be done, they can't get away with this.

No well in fairness I've been busy making sure teachers have voted in the preliminary strike ballot so got to take some time out at some point. The annual union jolly should be monthly if you ask me

Well the current ballot is preliminary and electronic. If it passes that then there has to be a postal ballot where over half of members vote and only after that can strike days be decided.

Of course the legislation on this isn't in any way prejudiced against the workforce

Sound the alarm bell

Liz Truss is doing the media rounds tomorrow. I say media rounds. She’s apparently doing 5 x 5 minutes radio interviews with some random local BBC radio programs.

Correction. 8 x 5 minutes interviews with local BBC radio stations.

Public support for teachers striking is pretty split an overwhelming display of public support at 51-49.

Which professions would Britons back going on strike? | YouGov

Brits would sympathise with nurses and doctors, firefighters, and supermarket staff striking, but not barristers, civil servants, or lecturers

Clear majority. Those who are against it just need to get over it.
