I think we’ve all worked with people like that over the years. I used to work for a company years ago that were obsessed with their graduates program and fast tracking them into managerial roles. Don’t get me wrong, some good capable people came through it but that was down to weight of numbers more than anything else. We had one I’ll always remember you had to coach daily on the stuff that you had to do daily still after a year. Then they promoted him. He got the title, the company car, the company credit card etc but he was a disaster.I always remember working for this boss who had degrees coming out of his eyeballs. He was highly intelligent. But a complete idiot.

A lot of my customers are Universities...... Its quite astonishing how truly dumb some high ranking academics are....

sunak's new prevent proposals seem unworkable in relation to their own new freedom of speech proposals and laws
On the plus side - Sunak has fuck all chance of winning so it will never happen.Basically you have freedom of speech to praise the government, but even slight criticism of them sees you cancelled/sacked/funding cut and now apparently in need of deradicalisation.

Dress it up as taking back control and getting rid of foreign influence and control over British business and the rewards going to hardworking British people.I think you could convince Liz Truss to fully nationalise the entire economy if you dressed it up with the appropriate populist buzzwords
