but you made the comment so what did you mean - why does Tony need to think for you - what majority will labour achieve in your own view not his?

I don't need him to think for me but what he said perfectly sums up my thoughts so why bother repeating it?

So a crushing defeat isn’t even a labour majority in your eyes?

PVA laughs again yet agrees the great orator even with truss at the helm can attain a labour majority

That also according to him is worst case. I assume with Tugenhat in his considered political analysis the Conservative Party retains a majority

The fucking irony of you complaining about using the laughing emoji.

Christ, if everyone in the receiving end of one from you questioned you as to why then this thread would be 1500 pages by now

His book on the arms trade was very good, think it was called 'as used on the famous Nelson Mandela', something like that.

Sunak was miles ahead in terms of debate and rewind the last labour leadership he’s miles ahead of their performances

I was surprised how dominant he was - his problem is he looked at everyone else as if they were complete retards - then again.

This is being stored for if Sunak doesn't win and your blind support of the Tories will see you laud whoever it as as some incredible leader.

Genuinely Tugendhat came across best but because he was the only one to slate big dog his game is up. Or dare I say he only took a swipe at Johnson as he knows he has no shot.

Sunak just interrupted everyone in an effort to look more assertive.

He'll go in the next round-but he was the only one willing to openly agree with what everyone up there knows-Johnson is a liar

I'd be more concerned that nobody else up there could just say what even most Tory voters think. Does Big Dog still have that much influence on them?

It’s really irrelevant - he got some cheap applause and this is a skewed poll by its questions but it’s correct - none of them will match his success and it’s highly unlikely in the north they will be any more successful if he was still here

Boris Johnson still flying high in the polls on visit to RAF base | Politics | News | Express.co.uk

A MAJORITY of voters believe Boris Johnson is still Top Gun when it comes to winning elections.
www.express.co.uk

It’s irrelevant what they said and if he was leader he’d make IDS look competent

Of course Sunak's a Northern MP... includes where Gyokeres may end up living.

Quite a track record in that seat - Leon Brittain, William Hague, Sunak... where they like parachuting chosen ones...

Of course no one will match his success... Because he's utterly trashed the reputation of the Conservative party.

Johnson doing the only thing he's capable of there. More cosplaying.

In which case I assume you predict a Blair style majority for Starmer at the next election

Is that your prediction?

No. And I've never said that.

You've misunderstood the results of that poll and taken it as an endorsement of Johnson. It isn't.

I didn’t as I caveated it with the fact that the questions were skewed

If it’s reputation is trashed you mean surely there is irreparable damage similar to the end of the labour administration in the late 70’s and therefore a failure to gain office for several years or the blood letting following the fall of Major?

Your statement implies surely years in tbe wilderness - do you think that’s going to happen?

Oh I don’t think labour will have a chance of a majority which when you think about it is telling and they can try and form a Lib lab pact with the handful of Lib Dem opportunists and also allow sturgeon a say in Westminster politics.

Not going to end well that I predict

Ah yes because the only two possible outcomes are an 80 seat Tory majority or 180 seat Labour majority, nothing at all in between.

As shmmeee says you flounder all over the place when you're losing.

My statement doesn't imply that. You've taken 2+2 and made 681382. Like you always do when you're losing and trying to propose absurd arguments.

I flounder?

You make a statement that the reputation is damaged and yesterday there would be a crushing defeat

Now you don’t see to even be able to express a view how that will manifest itself in parliament

I’ve said what I think will happen - a minority government which labour will need the support of several other parties - that’s not floundering that’s a view based on what I see

So what’s your view for the next election outcome - you must have one from the evidence around you?
