That's your opinion. Brexit (or the effect of it,) won't be measured accurately for years yet.

Well that's just not true is it.

It's already proven to have damaged the country significantly.

We're doing better than *checks notes* Russia though, I guess.

Do you mean the vaccine which you steadfastly refused to take and repeatedly suggested was responsible for various health problems? You count that as a big win for Boris?

Away from all the braying and the 3 word slogans and the bluster... it's amazing to see him exposed like this. It's incredible how genuinely fucking incompetent he is.

Has no clue on anything, no grasp on any detail. And yet he's the fucking Prime Minister.

It's astonishing just how bad he is.

Oh to be a fly on the wall when he gets back to no 10 as they are waiting for him to tell him to go.

He is finally getting something he is world leading at his colleagues not wanting him.

Campbell is a dick but he is spot on with this

Its what I’ve never got my head around with Johnson. He must know his failings and yet he surrounded himself with shat* That wouldn’t work long term in the best of times, let alone when there’s a pandemic and post Brexit challenges

*I know some have said the better ministers wouldve refused to work for him but I think for his first cabinet he could’ve pulled a far better team together

Absolutely.

Similar furlough schemes were implemented in virtually all other developed countries, and indeed most were more supportive than ours.

And we are forecast to have the lowest economic growth of developed countries apart from Russia.

Nothing like having a bit of patience, there are trade negotiations going on right now, until they are concluded and the effects of them measured over time its rediculous to make any assumptions, although I know that doesn't fit in with the lefties current hysteria over everything Boris related.

I think excess deaths we’re pretty much mid range in Europe. Apart from the care home fuck up at the start the government/PHE/NHS didn’t do badly compared to most

Holy shit, I actually agree in part with grendull. There was definitely a seismic shift in honesty and integrity in British politics under Blair and Campbell and in my mind it laid the foundations for another under Boris, Cummings and basically anyone allied/connected to Boris since 2016. But to suggest that Campbell is worse is overstretching. No one is worse than the current PM, cabinet and all the other sycophants employed by them as advisers etc. they’re all Campbell supercharged, turbocharged and NOS injected.

The worst thing about Campbell is the nation pretty much forgave him based on his appearance on a reality TV show ...which shows the morals of many brits

We were told there'd be 40 trade deals signed the following day, the easiest negotiations in the world.
Now its have patience!

What the threshold to get a snap election and circumvent the Fixed Term Parliament Act?

I think it's being very kind to suggest he knows his failings. He genuinely thinks he's untouchable.

This somewhat explains the cabinet choices too

FTPA was abolished AFAIK, now law is you can’t dissolve Parliament later than 5 years but no rule on how early.

Basically just needs to ask the Queen.

I didn't even know he had been on a reality show.

I am guessing "I'm a Celebrity?" Never seen it or followed it.

Was he popular on there then?
