Dowden has resigned, I wonder if more will follow.

Also there are rumours that a FPN could be announced for Starmer today. Which would of course be incredibly convenient timing for the Tories and definitely not bent, no siree.

You said this. Where did you see these rumours? Implied also corruption so source please?

Of course it’s this that makes the big guns resign. Not the other bits of law breaking, rank corruption, bungling of Brexit or anything else.

As for Johnson-he will never resign. They will have to force him out if they have the balls

Interestingly or otherwise, Sunak's appears to be because Johnson wants to tax and spend, and he doesn't... or even the other way round!

In other words, Johnson's financial acumen is akin to a three year old's.

Where did you hear them that day? Do you have a link?

You also then stated police corruption from the government which is Watergate levels of corruption. Is there evidence?

We know the government and police are corrupt. I don't know why you're pretending to be shocked by that.

Im talking specifically about rumours of the FPN notice being issued the day you claimed when I see no rumours and the claim the Durham police would be complicit

So you have made a very specific allegation about the Durham police being potentially corrupt with the government

Have you evidence of Durham police corruption?

Sunak's letter seems to suggest he wants turbo charged austerity, can't wait for the liberal press to talk about how principled the little c**t is

Smarmer only committed two crimes that day: ordering korma, and asking for milk as a drink. There probably should be some kind of fine for that

There were strong rumours that day. Not my problem if you're not aware of them.

And they only reopened the investigation after Tory pressure so yes I'm happy to say they will be easily leant on by the government.

I don't understand why a self respecting politician would take the chancellor gig atm. Surely it's not a good career move in the medium-long term?

But you have no evidence? So I can say anything as can everyone else on this thread and we have to accept as fact? It’s odd as you spend all your time on here linking Twitter comments so you must have a link - well you don’t as you made it up - suggesting the Durham police is a very serious claim indeed and I’m sure they’d want some evidence to support and the source it came from?

But, for reasons best known to others, he's fairly well thought of. Aligning himself with Johnson surely can't go well for either his prospects of the top job, or a decent position under Johnson's successor

I mean you did have the former Durham police chief saying this not long ago

Former police chief condemns pressure to investigate Keir Starmer’s office beer

Michael Barton says those pushing for action, such as Tory MPs and rightwing papers, are using policing as a ‘political football’

It is evidence of political pressure being applied on the force when in all evidence it’s pretty clear that Sneer broke no laws
