What, you mean the thing he says is shit and is going to renege on?

Though I suppose we have got all those massively increased prices he promised would happen after Brexit. Oh, no, wait. That was the other side.

Well perhaps Mr Starmer should put in his manifesto a return to the eu referendum - do you think he’d get their votes back?

Great news, people will now be able to work out what they can't afford to buy in pounds and ounces.

Nothing says global Britain more than a measurement system used by 2 whole countries in the entire world. Still, the over 50’s will be happy.

I see the Mail has gone with the headline of the EU took the crowns off pint glasses (they didn’t) again. Obviously there’s still some legs in partygate as operation bullshit to save big dog is far from over.

Genuine question but, once they've gone, what's the appeal of bringing them back? It's so much easier to work things out in metric!

There is no Brexit or anti Corbyn vote this time round. They are the only reasons people voted Tory for the first time.

Without those two reasons, expect the majority of the red wall to become red again.

I’d be surprised if they did, there’s the wider culture wars going on and they’ll try as long as possible to try to conduct a narrative of battling against the protocol being forced onto them.

I agree - trying to teach imperial and explain to kids we have all these weird conversions that make little sense is hard work!!

Yeah it’s amazing they’ve had to resort to myths to try and find a Brexit bonus - a bit like the black passport crap.

For it to work we’ve got to literally re-educate five generations including the kids currently in education. It’s beyond stupid.

Why mention it when he'd have a far better reaction to the rule breaking, shitty treatment of those they deem 'lesser' than them, dire economic situation and cost of living crisis.

So someone who is in their 50s will find the imperial system second nature. Very unlikely. Most people over 60 can use both imperial and metric.
You like a rant don't you ?
