Poor old Liz getting absolutely bodied over in Moscow.

This is what happens when totally unserious politicians are tasked with very serious business. I dread to think how out of her depth Truss was at this meeting.

Yeah but she’s had voice coaching (allegedly) to sound more like Maggie so…

I agree. However that’s not where we are. The government are distracting with smaller crimes.

In 30 years time it will be something like…

‘What’s your response to the news that half of the UK is now underwater due to runaway climate change which you have failed in every way to stop?’

‘Well firstly can I say how excited we are to be engulfed in British water, after all we did deliver Brexit’

Christ, when John Major comes across a bit liberal lefty, you know things are wrong!

We cannot take democracy for granted – this government’s failings imperil us all | John Major

Trust in UK politics is at a low ebb. This matters to parliament, and it matters to our country, says former prime minister John Major

John Major said:
Can it really be a crime to be frightened, homeless, desperate, destitute, fleeing from persecution or war or famine or hardship – and to cross half the world on foot and dangerous waters in an unsafe boat in the hope of finding a better life?

Of course, if the numbers are too large, this creates an appalling problem for local communities. But surely, to seek sanctuary from an unbearable life cannot – morally – be treated as a crime.

I just think it is a bit of sabre-rattling from both sides, getting people attention away from domestic issues.

If the Russians wanted to invade, I doubt it would have taken them this long to do it.

He was and still is a classic one nation Tory. Anything left of far right is now left to moronic idiots like you. He was also infinitely a better PM than Boris has ever been or ever could dream off being. Also more popular by any measurement despite not being a populist.

True that. After all, Alexander didn't sloganize family values (why would he?).

That 'Oven ready deal' for Brexit though, including the NI protocol? Hmm. That's a slogan.
