Atrocious performance from Johnson.

Flapping his arms, shouting out whatever buzzwords he can think of.

Starmer destroyed him and did it with style too. It's astonishing that anyone can watch that and think Johnson has more about him than Starmer.

'Bring your own boos' was a particularly good line!

I know we're all enjoying a tory bashing, but there has been no mention on this thread about John Bercrow. Thought it would be worth looking at.

What a horrible man. It is clear he was given a bit of a pass due to his stance on brexit.

David Davies has apparently just called for Boris to resign. Possibly more damaging than the defection. Just compared Boris to Neville Chamberlain. Ouch.

There’s also been no mention of William Pitt the Junior. So…

John Bercow has been found guilty of bullying staff apparently, something Johnson is cool with if we go back to his response into the inquiry into Patel.

Looking angry in his delivery too. If he’s loosing the nutters (I say nutters, I mean nutters by Tory standards) as well as the Red Wall Tories he really is a dead man walking.

It is possible to despise both the tories and also John Bercow you know. Not sure why it always has to be one side and ´hills to die on´.

Bullying is wrong.

Silly, silly boy.

With all that's going on, these are not good looks.

Did he forget he was on TV or something?

Was a career Tory as well having been a Tory councillor previous to becoming an MP. Maybe he’s had a road to Damascus conversion or maybe he only won his seat by 408 votes and you could argue that remain and anti-Corbyn votes going to the Lib Dems from Labour had as much to do with him winning the seat because they only picked up 2.2% of the 10% that Labour lost in votes so the writing was on the wall and he likes his job as an MP.

Yes all well and good regarding Mr Johnson. But when is Sir Anthony Charles Lynton Blair going to apologise for the wars in Iraq.

Has Nasty Nick ever formally apologised for his actions in big brother series one more to the point?

Pretty much, he was going to be struggling to hold Bury South in any election. Comedy value is worth it though

I'd assume there's a fair old chance he won't be selected as the Labour candidate in the next election, too.

Defected to labour I think.

Point is it shouldn´t matter, bullying is bullying. His stance on politics should be irrelevant.

Labour should have told the grifting c**t to get fucked. Instead they've told people who voted for Lucy Burke in Bury South to get fucked.

Nothing says ‘we are serious about improving the quality of your life’ like welcoming MP’s with that kind of hideous voting record.

The narrative has to be "He's seen the error of his ways and realised that The Labour Party has the best interests of the British public at heart"

If they fuck him off, they're basically saying that they don't want red wall voters back.

It’s a PR move from Labour and a save his ass move from the MP. Public won’t give a shit and will vote based on party like always

Not a fan of purity tests for MPs TBH. If he’s working towards a Labour government and will vote with the whip that’s good enough for me.

Isn’t he though the perfect example of the talentless grifter that has overtaken Parliament recently. No conviction to actually vote for his constituents best interests…. just his own.

I agree. But...politics.

As I said, Labour can't turn him down. They need the red wall voters to change their minds at the next election, just like this MP.

They've got to spin it as a good thing in public, even if they are holding their noses in private.

I mean it still makes me a bit nauseous seeing the likes of Co Durham constituencies vote Tory. Just get them back

Personally I would like to see a by-election for anyone who changes parties.

I wonder how many labour supporters would vote for Tory boy.
