Agree. Think he could be in real trouble…certainly if he attended. Wonder what else Cummings has got in his locker as well ?!

Just another example of poor (this time appalling) judgement

You'd really hope so but I feel the same thing has been said on multiple occasions now and Boris is still here.
I wouldn't be surprised if he survives this too

Have people the memory of a goldfish?
The same conservative commentators who were defending the government over the Cummings affair in May 2020 are now using it in a list to attack the government.
The same Tories who have defended Johnson for years when he has behaved in exactly the same way now want to sack him.
They are all culpable and if the electorate forget then the whole cycle continues.

I think he was told to have a rest and come back and get a grip by someone in the 1922 committee just before Xmas in what sounded like a thinly veiled threat towards his leadership. However he's come back and we're straight back into even more stuff about illegal parties. With more to come as I'm sure Cummings still has more up his sleeve. Just think he'll be seen as too much of a liability and the votes of no confidence will come in.

When the DUP are peeved at a Conservative PM then you know it's going to be touch and go if Johnson survives the day or not.

Haven't posted in here in ages.

Does the bootlicker still think no one cares about the parties?

Well Nostragrennus's no one cares about a party line is yet more grade a bollocks from him it seems

This is even worse than I thought. He's managed to admit there was a party and that he was there

He basically apologises if people think it was a party but it was actually a work event. Shameless.

No, Sue Gray wears a bandolier of Sidekick shots just in case a party kicks off in the garden. Like the girls that used to mooch about in the colly globe bar.

Sue Gray has finally told Boris where he was in May.

Last PMQ for Boris?

Claims he was only there for 25 mins and didn't realise it was a party.

Silly fat wanker has no shame.

Starmer called him a 'pathetic spectacle of a man'.

Surely even the most stoic Johnson supporter on here can admit his position is untenable now.

Did he really just answer a question about what he would say to someone whose close relative died alone while Downing Street was hosting parties with 'we have one of the fastest growing economies in the G7'.

That’s fine. He attended as he thought it was a work event. As we were then. Wonder why he didn’t mention this when he was asked about the parties over the last few weeks and months though

This was his only option that doesn't involve admitting he lied and/or broke the law, so it was inevitable he'd say something like this. His best hope is that the public's attention has moved on by the time Sue Grey's report drops in a few weeks from now (or that the report is a total fudge) but in the absence of much other big news, he might not even make it that long.

Just because it was a "work event" doesn't mean it was lawful. This isn't the defence he thinks it is
