We’re talking about ministerial staff, most of who were probably working under horrific pressure last year (like many others in the normal world I appreciate). The language PVA used for what are ministerial staff was way over the top. None of us know them or what this ‘party’ might have been. You might think it’s ok, I don’t

It was for the crime of not saying hello first on the way to the bus and so being ‘unfriendly’. Then resorting to calling people twats in public as a sign of how ‘friendly’ you are.
Since I called her out on it she’s not said a word. Mrs BSB genuinely still anxious about it though.

Agree with this unless maybe it’s a ‘go now or we will make the decision for you’ and it’s done under health/family reasons.
This whole situation has snowballed from what could’ve been a ‘ill look into this’ and returning to say there were team gatherings after work with colleagues who already work together so no increased risk of additional spread. ‘With hindsight these shouldn’t have taken place and we apologise for offence caused’.

But instead the belief that you can lie your way out of everything and evidence won’t pop up from somewhere ?! It’s also a question of election timing which let’s be honest is all the Tories are ultimately bothered about. What we’ve seen from them in this and other debacles comes from a belief of impunity because the majority is so large and the opposition so feeble while the general public tends not to be bothered with what goes on in Parliament.
He hid in fridges and prorogued Parliament but got away with a great majority because of a 3 word sound bite. You get the politicians you deserve
