Remarkably him claiming he can hypnotise your tits bigger is the least amount of bullshit that has come out of Westminster in the last 10 years.

People being interviewed saying they wouldn't have voted greens if they knew their policies Maybe they didn't put them in the Urdu versions.

Articles now appearing saying some of the Muslim Green voters didn't understand the Greens stood for abortion, legalising all drugs, euthanasia, legalising prostitution, lowering the voting age to 16 and additional petrol/diesel taxes. Then there is their position that of trans women are women, trans men are men and non-binary identities are valid, I can see that going down well in the mosques.

It takes you seconds on the Demoncary Now website to discover this is something they seem to find at every single election. Thing is they report it happening in such large numbers pretty much everyone on here who votes would have witnessed it happen. Has anyone?

Maybe it is a widespread issue, and if it is it needs to be addressed and taken seriously, but it seems somewhat strange that this group see it everywhere they go yet election officers and police present don't. Even when the Conservatives were desperately looking for evidence of election fraud to bring in stricter ID requirements this never got a mention.

It only seems to have become an issue when Farage picked up on it and declared, in Trump-esque manner, that the election was fixed. Yet nobody seems to have been able to point to anything from Democracy Now to indicate that this benefited the Greens.

I think that's true of a LOT of people voting for any of the parties. How many people on the street actually read manifestos or do actual research? Lot of people it's based on stuff they get though Facebook and X.

As an example last election, where I work I had a few members of the public saying how they hoped Reform would win. None of them knew the actual policies - just vague stuff about immigration. And I would say most, if not all, of them would have worse off had Reform won given their manifesto pledges on cutting benefits and cutting public spending/public sector jobs.

Fact is if you want to give everyone the vote you have to accept that a lot of those people are going to be voting without actually knowing what they're voting for. I feel uncertain I know what I'm voting for, and I read and rank the policies of all the main party manifestos!

Well being in Coventry, before any of the recent stuff I wouldn't have voted Green for obvious reasons.

Isn't their whole recent campaign divisive in itself? It's one big contradiction, the same as most of the extreme left stuff. Who do they pander to, LGBT or the people shouting Allahu Akbar? Saying to legalise crack and heroin is divisive. Wanting to hand out benefits the minute somebody steps into the country illegally is pretty divisive. Standing about with Pakistan flags outside polling stations is pretty divisive.

I was trying to engage but you were just shouting "conspiracy".

Christ yourself.

Nick, you're the one promoting the racist conspiracy theory here mate. Do you get that. The great replacement theory is racist bollocks, can you accept that at least?

You live in Coventry, you claim to hate racism, and I believe you, yet here you are furthering a racist trope. And then you have a big whine about integration. Who the fuck is going to integrate with people they feel threatened or hated by?

As for the other stuff, it's easy to stand against the genocide in Gaza (Palestinian flags) and also support LGBT rights (rainbow flags). Why does that trouble you?

You'll note that a large proportion of Muslims in this election voted for a dog-owning woman, in a party led by a gay Jewish man. Maybe these things don't trouble Muslims as much as you think they do. Maybe, just maybe, Muslims also aren't a single homogenous hive mind dedicated to the overthrow of the liberal west?

And as for the hypocrisy on the "selling crack to kids" line here's a shocker - anyone here buying coke, pills, or weed off their friendly neighborhood drug dealer is supporting a criminal network that is right now exploiting children as mules and foot soldiers.

Either we start locking up everyone found with a bit of gear, which might impact our attendance somewhat, or we figure out a different, grown up way around the problem if we want to genuinely protect our kids.

Please can you tell me the demographics of London between 1991 and now? If you can also do Gorton and Denton, that would be helpful.

I'm not promoting a conspiracy theory though am I? That one seems to be a favourite. So if I'm pointing out changes and the way things are going, I'm pushing a conspiracy? Actual changes, actual numbers.

You're talking shit though, you think people don't want to integrate because of people having an issue with them not integrating it makes zero difference.

Well as it seems to be turning out, people didn't really know what they were voting for. All of this "maybe Islam is understanding because they voted for a gay Jew" is bollocks as well. As I've already pointed out with people now saying they didn't know. You also asked "What's divisive' and they have answered a few things for that themselves.

If it doesn't trouble islam, I look forward to the LGBT events in mosques. You say it's easy to support both but this is where people get tangled because of the contradictions.

Have a step into the real world. Which part of Coventry are you in, out of interest?

There's no better source for UK rail matters than Seat61, so consider this legit. It's fucking abysmal, the only hope in hell any of us have to get even half-affordable rail travel is to book tickets in advance and it's already an utter ballache to get a refund on completely unused tickets.

If you had multiple tickets for the same journey (as I do, as I bulk book my travel to work) and accidentally scanned an incorrect ticket without actually going through, you used to be able to get a refund on that but they changed the TOR to remove that a couple of months ago as well.

Is it genuinely going to have to be that you either stump up whatever the astronomical on-the-day rate is for a long journey, or else book your ticket and cross your fingers nothing goes wrong after 23:59 the night before?

I don't care. The solution to a problem isn't to punish ordinary people.

The abuse only happens in any event because of the dreadful reliability of the railway. Address that.
