Whether you agree with it or not, I’m not sure the local Muslim community would see the British flag as a friendly symbol of unity given the large anti-Islam march from Britain First the previous weekend.

Makes you wonder why the muslim vote backed them then?

Was it the things they agreed to and the extreme islamist fella they drafted in?

I'd hazard a guess and say that they voted for them because they believed they were the best choice for them and their children? Maybe, just maybe it's not down to them wanting to take over the country.

Fuck knows with AI. Generally I’ve always felt the conversation should be around higher taxes for better public services due to demographics but ensuring the goverment spends the cash wisely and in the right areas to benefit the population as a whole. Not particularly radical

Edit - no issue with increasing borrowing for infrastructure projects that will help with growth etc but these projects need to be delivered a lot quicker and better value

No reports from the council of this apparent electoral fraud. No reports from the police. No reports from any polling staff.

Then it all comes out after the vote, once Reform have lost.

Yet watch it become gospel for many over the next few days. Fucking chancers.

If your answer to losing an election is that it was rigged or there was malpractice going on, you need to provide the receipts. They haven't, and he's right, it's just straight out of the Trump playbook like everything else that party stands for.

Do you think Reform will just go away by people shouting at TV screens or across the internet? You really have zero understanding about peoples thought processes do you?

I'm not 'obsessed' with Reform by any means.

I am however concerned that the party that currently looks set to form the next government is full of dodgy fuckers and is trying to emulate the orange idiot over the pond - cries of electoral fraud and cheating because they lost is at best pathetic and at worst dangerous.

You have raised issues regarding this election regarding antisemitism and false brochures by Reform which have also been exhibited by the Labour Party?

The Greens are full of "dodgy fuckers" aren't they?

I suggest if you are that concerned about Reform you focus on the cretins people like you voted into government and get rid of Starmer and Reeves

People vote Reform partly because of these lazy slurs people like you make and offer zero alternatives to the people who will vote for them. You would just come across if you did talk to the average Reform voter as a condescending snob frankly.

The famously lazy slur-free Reform party.

Are people really looking to the Sky Blues Talk Off Topic Forum for alternatives do you think?

I don't believe I've said there aren't any dodgy fuckers in Labour or the Greens. Sadly they are in all walks of life.

But reform just seems to be absolutely chock full of them.

As I say, crying electoral fraud is at best pathetic and at worst dangerous.

I will never vote Reform but I do find it interesting how people are so distracted from reality they cannot see why the likes of they and the Greens - with zero policies between them - can take 70% of a vote at an election

I see you’re doing the shy Reform voter thing - Tom Skinner would be proud.

I don’t think the success of Reform and the Greens is any great mystery, people talk about it incessantly on here. I have never and would never vote for either - you can’t say the same, of course.

What slurs? That the Reform candidate needs to substantiate his claims of an unfair election? Sounds like being a snowflake to me.

I was asked what my preferred policies were some time ago, I listed them and got no answer. I suspect because they’re actually pretty reasonable and would help ordinary people. I want the country to be more like Scandinavia, not more like the USA as Farage and Tice would have it.

Reform will stick to the narrative, how they're in the conversation as a viable vote for change is absolutely mental.

It's not complicated really is it. Not sure why people are trying to make it more than it is.

People have had enough of the traditional parties. Incumbents, left or right, are struggling everywhere.

Things have run their course. All the money has flowed to the top, as it's designed to do since Reagan & Thatcher championed neoliberalism, but there's not enough crumbs left to keep the wider population content so they look for something else. We're seeing that one of two ways. People either place the blame for the wider problems on immigrants and move towards Reform or they place the blame on the ever increasing transfer of wealth to the super rich and move towards the Greens.

IMO something radical needs to happen to move us to whatever comes next rather than a continued decline but nobody seems to have much idea as to what that next thing is.

Think this one has slipped under the radar with the election coverage

Sultana really fucked this big time. Just ended up pissing off people who supported her or the idea of a left party.

Suspect things will trundle along under Corbyn without causing too much of an impact.

Jeremy Corbyn set to become Your Party parliamentary leader

Ex-Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's supporters won 14 of the 24 seats on Your Party's central executive committee (CEC).
