Chancellor Rachel Reeves has confirmed she will introduce permanently lower business rates for retail, hospitality and leisure firms, paid for by higher levies on big properties.

Put money away for a rainy day etc. I'm on around 50k with overtime and drive a 10 year old car, colleagues are getting a brand new one every 2 years and paying more for a car then I do for my mortgage. Its mental the amount people are wasting to keep up appearances.
