The should be listed and should be in jail, why do we want them supporting a terrorist group on our street

I think it's worth asking questions about them being listed in the first place and the High Court has said an appeal of their listing is allowed.

It’s a joke, they attacked a military base. I think it says a lot about you going against our military tbh, absolute joker

Isn't Israel's government leaning on ours to take action re: dissent just the grown up politics you talk about?

Why are you waffling on about not wanting PA banned then, they attacked a military base? Surely any normal person thinks that’s justified. Love the way you never answer anything

The protestors are perfectly at liberty to protest - the government has no issue with protesting against Israel’s actions? In fact Starmer says he will recognise Palestine?

I've answered some questions and replied to a bunch of posts this morning in this thread. I've said what I think about it. You say you see it differently, I can live with that.

his position on recognising Palestine is ropey for me with it being conditional on bits that don't seem likely to happen. If he wants to do it, just crack on.

and the whole basis for the appeal as far I can remember is that PA's listing has been done to stifle protest and the High Court thinks they've got a point.

Anyone can and do on a daily basis protest, none of these people would have been arrested if they hadn’t proclaimed to support a defined terrorist group.

If what Starmer says is true and PA deliberately target Jewish businesses in the UK I assume you’d be appalled by this?

Any reasonable person would be - many Jewish people will be opposed to Israel's actions.

Yeah, but I'm confident they knew they'd get arrested. It's the direct action playbook. I don't think it's effective but there it is! It's a bit 60s and lo-fi.

If there's evidence that targets for action were chosen purely because they were Jewish, that changes things, and like any kind of racism, it's sh*t.

I've seen claims to that effect. Labour say evidence can't be shared yet. Let's not pretend people conflating 'Israel' with 'Jewish' isn't a thing, though.

Yeah but it’s not in the legislation as is. I think it’s a fair argument, as I’ve said I think terror law generally could be got rid of with little consequence. But then there’s nothing like prescription (banning media perhaps?) and that’s pretty binary. Either a group is banned or it’s not.

Inheritance tax is a wealth tax to be fair but I get the point, the people receiving large inheritances do not perceive themselves as wealthy in many cases, and are certainly not wealthy compared to the donors labour courts.

The bigger issue is the utter dominance of the household budget analogy, and further, the lack of any real ideas of how to use public investment to grow the economy.

Not sure lack of ideas is the issue. Maybe lack of focus.

There have been countless reports that state the wealth of the super-rich exploded during Cov-ID. This is what should be targeted, not inheritance tax per se.

David Lammy wasn’t in possession of a fishing permit when he went casting the other day apparently.
Can only be one outcome after this, his latest ‘gaffe’.
Resign immediately.
AND STOP REELING!
