OK. Read that. He doesn't seem to offer any evidence to support his opinion that I can see, whereas the person he's debating with offers some that calls his opinion into question. He's entitled to his opinion, but it's not exactly a slam dunk that backs up your 'lefties have ruined the family unit' idea.

Mostly breaking up abusive relationships is best for all involved, non standard arrangements like gay and lesbian parents or single parents are better recognised and supported. Child tax credits, child benefit and enforcing child maintenance has made a significant impact on child poverty rates.
