The one thing I truly enjoy is Quentin Letts Westminster column. He writes most days now ,as you probably know, his insight into Parliament personalities is illuminating & always hilarious.
Hitchens pops up now & again but he has lost the plot with his obsession for a Lucy Letby re-trial.
Andrew Neil Saturday always worth a read : economically he has the current government as "na na na na fkin useless". Boris I tend to skip.

Personally not convinced the landslide was down to a detailed study of Reeves economic plans, for me it was more a 'get them out' result. Would say we'll see next time round but Badenoch seems intent on making them even less popular.

Andrew Neil is a proper political journalist who really does give politicians a run for their (should that be our) money. I darent use him as a source though, far too good at his job to be anything but a rubbish source according ro the imperilled labour supporters on here.

They could have won with any strategy last year.The popular vote means nothing. Not understanding this was exactly what Corbyn got wrong. You play the game you’re in not the one you wish you were in. Strategy would be entirely different under a different system.
I've always soaked oats overnights when cooking porridge and discovered them by accident after being too lazy to bother cooking them. Love them in the summer.Pretty much, you soak them overnight rather than cook and then add fruit or nuts or whatever. Takes 5 minutes to make a weeks worth and you just get them out the fridge in the morning and eat them. Job done.
