I have managed services involved in child protection and safeguarding. I don’t see this as a political football, unfortunately politicians have a nasty habit of doing so, causing collateral damage to good people who have tried to do their best and then don’t like it when the focus is turned back on the politicians.It’s how im feeling mate. Like a few in this thread I imagine I know and have worked with abused kids and seeing them used as a political football and people who have dedicated their lives to protecting them slandered while we listen to actual groomers instead it boils my blood.
