Small Heath and Bordesley Green, I've had 1st hand experience of it. Also some areas of London is suggested it's governance by Sharia law. And before anyone says anything no it's not directed towards a racist subject. Thought this was known.

Which areas of London?

“1st hand experience” means you experienced it yourself - how did you manage to escape with your life?

I can’t find anything about this. Would love to know more.

Watched this from 9 months ago about Birmingham and seems like when people say no go zones they just mean high crime areas. Could have been Hillfields back in the day or Stoke Aldermoor

Totally agree. Or vandalism, or theft.

Years ago had loads of IT stuff stolen off ambulances parked outside the scene of a “shout”.

It puts patients at immediate risk and then increases insurance costs, reducing funding available to get out to patients.

Trouble is we seem to have to cater for the lowest common denominator in society, some of which - frankly - really are extremely low.

There is, or was, a “red card” system which seemed to be very rarely used.

Tax him to the eyeballs obviously. But I’m not sure hoping everyone becomes a once in a generation sports talent is a solid educational policy.

No one who has spoken to a 16 year old would think having sex with them isn’t abuse tbh.

I try not to speak to 16 year olds wherever possible. For two reasons, avoiding misunderstandings and to avoid being politically embarrassed.

Saw her on Twitter. Certainly an interesting account. I’m not sure I follow her reasoning here. She seems to just amplify whatever Tommy Robinson says yet also is on actual inquiry bodies I think.

Didn’t Starmer make some comment about ethnicity issues being a root cause. So that’s all OK then. Why not have an inquiry or review? They are doing that for every fucking thing else as they kick multiple cans down the road. If they don’t like the answers they can ignore it, like the ombudsman review of the WASPIs.

We’ve had a national CSE review that we still haven’t implemented all the recommendations for and grooming gang specific reviews for every council apart from Oldham. Oldham keep refusing to do it and demanding the government do instead the government (Tory and Labour) keep telling them to do what every other council has done then they can do a meta analysis of all the individual inquiries.

The idea there hasn’t been an inquiry is nonsense. Frankly I’d move ahead with the meta analysis without Oldham at this point though.

Howveer I think it would be quicker, cheaper, and more effective to actually start implementing recommendations rather than waiting years for an enquiry to make probably the same recommendations. Which funnily enough is exactly the governments plan.

You won’t read this in the media though cos reasons.

To be clear it’s obvious long grass kicking. There will be no consensus a year before a GE. But also Labour are all out of political capital and the only reasonable solution to this almost lost May the election sooo…

Letting me keep the tax I pay and self fund. I would rather like my wife to have somewhere to live in future. If that’s ok with you on your one way street.

The current system seems fundamentally unfair. The government has plenty of money and I expect @fernandopartridge would be arguing they can create more. So it’s a question of priority. Sorting this out would have a positive impact on NHS performance as people will currently try to stay within that system, blocking beds etc, to save themselves from penury.

The other thing to think about is that all the taking of housing wealth reduces the IHT take so it could end up being cost neutral but with decent, safe and dignified services in place.

Fucking simples.
