I know that it’s the late registration that is the scandal.

However, it is also scandalous that in the first place the millionaire Starmer thought receiving new clothes and glasses to the value of several years state pension followed by issuing a Downing Street pass to the donor would be seen as being acceptable.

You realise the donor is a Lord? Not just some random. What do you think the payback was for this alleged corruption?

To be fair to Starmer he has achieved one thing - not exactly a brain drain

Within the Labour party is there anybody who sits in this centre ground that they seem to be aiming for?

If we had an even vaguely competent fourth estate they'd just ask him why he's moving somewhere that has the same CGT threshold as the UK allegedly plans to implement.

Well, he was, and remains, vehemently anti Brexit.

Maybe that's got something to do with it.

What’s the issue exactly? As long as they’re on the gifts register I don’t think there is one. Unless there is a fear he may be lobbied by Arsenal or Coldplay.

The Netherlands wants to opt out of EU migration rules. Can hardly say this has come as a surprise. I expect we will see more of this across the continent.

Seems like a right wing government grandstanding to its supporters while doing fuck all. The difference between what the party has tweeted out and what is actually happening is huge.

I guess we will see. Mass migration has been a disaster for Europe. There's a growing level of resentment towards EU policy, so like I said, I suspect we'll hear echoing calls from other countries in the coming months.
