If anybody has been scratching their head wondering how ACL and SISU cannot just sit down and reach an amicable agreement.....this thread shows us why.

I think poor chap you've missed the point of this forum.

Doing the right thing in many of the pitiful creatures that frequent this site would be to shaft the club even more, get a franchise sports club in the Ricoh (without even understanding the irony) and if there is a sniff of promotion urge them to find a way to dock the club more points.

This is the only footba forum in the world whee people are more interested in a management company, a lump of concrete in a very undesirable area and a local council than the football team.

With Sisu/ Otium, quite clearly stating, on more than one occasion, that they would only return to the Ricoh, if they were holding the "Freehold document" aloft, and the City Council/ ACL, quite rightly, in the eyes of many, refusing to give way in the face of severe intimidation, an end to this sorry state of affairs, seems light years away.

With CCFC bleeding money, at an alarming rate in Northampton, in order to prove that "they can" just goes to show how much they are determined to show any opponent just how powerful and wealthy they are, hedge funds cannot be seen to weaken, it would blow all credence with their would be suitors, And on the other hand, the Council of a Major city like Coventry, cannot be seen to capitulate, in the face of intimidation and threats,to a firm of offshore, venture capitalists who are determined to prevail in the argument, even if it means the death of our once revered Football club, it could well be a fact, soon to be revealed, that our club is nearer to liquidation, than it is to a return to the Ricoh Arena.
