After all the ups and downs and have they haven't they of today surrounding Hoffman's bid do you really think he will succeed in taking the club over? I know we have no idea of what he is offering or what SISU would find acceptable but anecdotally the two sides appear miles apart and Dulieu's attitude towards Hoffman was rude and dismissive but do you really think that soon we may have new owners?

Personally my heart wants it to happen but my head says it won't happen and the club will continue in its current downward spiral towards oblivion.

My head says it won't happen and the rest of my body completely agrees with me.

I hope it does, and that Hoff and Co will bring about some improvement, just the abilty to compete in this division would be a start. But as others have said, my head just says no.

I almost feel I've been given a duff hand when it comes to football

I really want it to, but the only way it could is if SISU have been lying all along about not wanting to sell. They've lied about everything else, so it could happen..but I just don't see exploitionist capitalist bastards like these walking away out of pocket. It's almost as if they don't even believe such a scenario as them failing is possible or plausible. In which case, we will be very lucky to see the start of next season, in any division.

I think Hoffman will takeover, but I don't think yet. I can't see Sisu accepting the first offer & I expect this to go on for a while.

At this stage I cannot see how SISU will accept.

They are business men and will look to extract some additional concessions and payments. They will not be able to take an offer without getting something. Thay are playing with investors money and as such are duty bound to strike the best deal.

I also assume that Hoffman will have an initial offer and then some wiggle room for negotiation in order to be able to play the game so that all parties can drive a hard bargin and walk away with pride intact.

I dont think SISU will put us into ADMIN as then they have no power to recover any investments.

This bid will succeed, but not yet. The two parties have started dancing, and after a decent interval, an agreement will be reached. I have no idea how long it will take, but I hope that GH's money men will be able to help us before Div 1 is inevitable.

I just can't see it happening now, been dragged on with so much melodrama for so long I'm not sure I'd believe it if tomorrow's CET had a picture of Hoffman with his feet up in the chairman's office alongside a big stack of cash Million Pound Drop style.
