Do we still need to add to the squad (1 Viewer)

Great win Saturday and looked a good all round team again. Add to the eleven selected we had Burge, Rose, Lamieras, JOB, Tudgay, Henderson, Ramage, Hunt, Bigiriamma, Martin, Lorentzen, Phillips, Willis, Fortune either subs or not even selected, could make a half decent team out of that lot, but do we need to add. I still think if we could net a wide right attacker loan for the rest of the season it could give us another option attacking wise.

Yep, totally agree. Someone in a similar vein to that Elson Hooi we were looking at.

Yes let's save some needless wages, Thomas and some kids can go out on loan and gain experience for a start just like Haynes.

Also get rid of the dead wood like tudgay and fortune as they must be on a wack both of them when we have Henderson now. Also send bigi back.

I've just saved us about 6k a week there

Not sure if you can just send Bigi back or any other loan, there will be a deal until the end of the season, start saying to Newcastle you can have Bigi back they might say okay and we'll have Armstrong back too ! Might loan a couple out as we have Haynes, perhaps Phillips and a fit again Willis but can't see anymore than that.

Isn't Hooi under contract? Thought we were going to buy him weren't we?

We were linked to a Liverpool youngster Jack Dunn I think who may even be up for grabs at the end of the season so having a good look at him could be handy. I still have a bit of a concern should we lose Armstrong through injury we are not that well covered in that department other than Henderson who is a totally different type of player

The squad never stops needing to be improved to be fair. So yes we should be looking at getting more players in.

Because he has 19 goals and we have no-one else capable of such a return.

He is the one natural finisher we have in our squad. Murphy will get a few, but none of Henderson, Tudgay or Fortune are capable of doing what Armstrong can do and none of those 3 latter names have any pace at all about them.

That wasn't what the original post said. It was that if he got injured the season could be over.

Because without his goals the chances of making the play-offs would be most considerably less. Therefore the season could be over.
