...where the JR's are concerned? As they're all about what happened up to a certain points in time (the council loan and the wasps takeover of the loan) do they still need to be owners to carry on with the JR's?

What's stopping them selling for a quid, writing of a load of "not real debt" and claiming the losses from the sale and writing of "not real debt" if as they say "the judge got it wrong" they're going to win and be able to start a claim for compo.

I assume if they own the club it still sits on their books as an asset. if it washes it face what incentive is there for them to sell for a quid ?

Whilst they are at our club the money they have wasted can be counted as an investment. Once they leave it would be counted as a loss.

Are they really here now?
I'm not so sure
There Is no inward investment
SISU debt largely written off through that (ongoing)Liquidation
ARVO debt parked at around£15M
We are for sale but we've got to fluke a couple of promotions first

I can't see how they can carry on like this as I can't think that we will sell enough season tickets to get near to break even , any youth team players they want to sell will be worth less next year as I don't see many sides buying players from division 4 for millions of pounds.

We dont have many contracted players next season, so the club can cut its cloth accordingly.

If we drop out of this division any young players likely values will shrink and the model they're working to will severely test the viability of having category two academy status IMO
They really are running a huge risk by retaining SP

If they get rid of SP, they will need to fork out 3 years + of his contract. Even if he is on 2k a week that will be over 250k.

If we go down, we just get less players on less wages, as we wont have many contracted players next season

By getting rid of SP, it will cost them money, i am not sure relegation will.

I am not sure it can keep on cutting, unless Fisher:jerkit: and his pal are not on the pay roll as season ticket sales would bearly cover their wages. I should think the rugby lot might be getting a bit worried about their money as well

then there is the income for being in the league.

Many league 2 clubs survive on 2-3k season ticket holders by ensuring their overheads are appropriate.

I am sure these teams don't have marketing managers, commercial managers etc and all these would need to be made redundant extra costs and two people no doubt on big money at the top. I assume the income comes down and less chance of being on the box.

isnt our marketing manager on about 13k ?

last year, league clubs asked for a bigger share of the prem pot. In short "League One clubs will receive £360,000 and League Two clubs £240,000, respectively a 6.6% and 5.4% rise".

So, in terms of income from that, we would lose £120k a year if relegated. Get rid of Reda and thats that money saved straight away. Sponsorship etc loses, which are the usual issues with relegation arent really a problem, as many of our sponsors left when we went to Northampton.

I honestly think that financially, relegation would have very little impact on our owners.

If the clubs bobbling along wiping it's face they have no reason to sell do they. Unless these leaches are given several million reasons to leave I can't see them going as they are off setting against profits in other areas. The football league, dinosaurs that they are, need to redefine ownership elegability to stop what's happened to us happening to others in the future. The league should be able to audit members accounts at the drop of a hat to make sure things are being done properly, this would stop owners taking management fees for not managing. The government need to legislate as well, how many businesses with the possibility of a 60 billion tv rights package operate outside of an official legal framework. Footballs now for thieves and flash harrys us normal working class folk are their fodder through our allegiances.

240k won't cover Fishers wages and I think the marketing manager will be on a few quid looking at her experience and quals.

We must be the only team in the country who's owners think promotion is the worst case.

They dont even need to stay as owners of ccfc to continue their legal pursuits , so im baffled as to why they are still here when seemingly there is nothing here for them anymore

I guess if they clear off then they have to pay the solicitors bills themselves where as the season ticket money is much nicer for them to use.

I've never understood this chain of thought, it makes no sense whatsoever. You are not forced to spend more money on the team. Sisu would be delighted with promotion, they could spend the same amount they currently are on the team, sure we'd get relegated but they would have alot more season ticket money, sponsorship money and tv revenue.

it will break even in the very near future if it doesnt already, so its not costing them any money to keep it. No-one would buy it, but they place a value on it.

One relegation might not bother Sisu, but a second should. Falling out of the football league would be a total disaster for Sisu as, effectively, all the club's income would dry up. They would then have to crystalise their losses and their investors will see just what a lousy job they've made of running CCFC. Someone in Sisu needs to grow a pair and stand up to Joy and tell her to stop being so stubborn and think a bit harder.

Provided they've lined up another job before they do that.

I will be joining you once this season ends as I have already paid for the season ticket and even if I wanted to spend in the club shop I think it is nearly impossible.

Who is the Marketing Manager with the experience? Only one I could find was Stacie McDermott who has little experience (this does not mean necessarily she is not good though)

Apologies misread her experience but I would say that she is not on 13k though as that would put some of the other people on there on virtually nothing. I bet Tynan Scope is not working for free as the Corporate Sales Manager! (I would love to know what that job entails).

I just think behind the scenes we are carrying a bit spare and I should think they are getting nervous.

Marketing wise I would say it must be a pretty tough job as there isn't much to market.

It all boils down to who owns the football club, is it just sisu and Sepalla or is it a clutch of investors. If it is who decides to sell ? Sepalla or the investors and is Fisher an investor ?
