The minutes do say he denied it repeatedly.

As for the loose cannon... I'd be surprised if the whole approach wasn't orchestrated, wouldn't you?

What's more dangerous when you're obliged to pay lip service and consult on processes, a strong Trust with influence, or a weak divided Trust that shows itself confrontational and unwilling to consult?

Is it anybody's business?
Especially labovitchs?
SISU don't make their business contacts and affiliations public.
Joy Seppala won't even reveal her face.
Who are Arvo and where does their money come from?

Oh yeah, also a fundraising event should be held to pay for the directors' fuel costs between Ryton and Sixfields... I recommend a tombola, everyone loves a tombola. I'll contribute a half eaten tin of beans...

You may mock but it's so ridiculous, either it raises precisely nothing (beyond the odd mentalist - you know who you are ) or you actually raise the money, and you choose to present it through the medium of mime, on the Tollbar roundabout.

The Trust was approached by Weber Shadwick months ago for some Keep Cov in Cov wristbands and thats the only contact they have had with them so I gather.

No he wants people who attend to do protesting for him -- so does Dongle.

Presumably he's too lazy or spineless to do it himself

You would like me to attend sixfields in order to protest. Is that in the ground or on the Hill?

I remember posting last year, that if we want to engage fans from other teams we have pursue an agenda that is about football rather than just Coventry City FC.: the governance of the game.

I like the idea of going to the smaller lower league clubs rather than the Premier League. However attendance at televised games would potentially reach a larger audience.

He's trained as an investment banker and master tax avoider. Seems being a slimy, vindictive c**t is right up his specialism.

Yes, I remember the "it'll be good to have hard nosed businessmen in charge" comments.

I wouldn't like you to do anything. You on the other hand would like people to do some protesting for you.

I wouldn't fancy standing on the hill in the weather there was on Sunday so you can't really criticise that. However there seems to be a certain band if posters on here who will actually do nothing themselves.

PM some of your like minded friends (there's plenty on here try the hard nosed activist Spoinkop first) and go in the ground and organise a protest. Take some banners (no one searches you) shout sisu out fisher out do what you like. You can't really use the excuse you don't want to give money to sisu as if it works we will return to the Ricoh will we not? Or do you not believe it will work? Or are you someone who likes to direct others from a keyboard but can't be bothered to do it himself? Bit like Spoinkop?

The SCG is supposed to be about improving the matchday experience isn't it? It seems the last couple of meetings have been hijacked by Labovich as a means to have a pop at people in relative safety. Even if Steve was speakign to Webber Shadwick everyday what does that have to do with Labovich or Steve's role as a member of the SCG or have they now got a rule you can only be a member if you're 'pro-SISU'.

From reading the minutes it seems Labovich wasn't satisfied with Steve saying he hasn't spoken to Webber Shadwick and made him, on the spot, contact other trust members to check if they had! Totally out of order at any meeting let alone this type of meeting.

Seems both on here and in the real world there's lots of chatter about 'doing something' before the end of the season but which seems to boil down to disrupting games one way or another.

I've never been persuaded that something like that would help - media coverage would be negative, there's a high risk of violence (however peaceful people might try to be, stewards and the police will intervene and it only takes one idiot to take a swing at a PC and that would be that), I can't see SP would like it and people could end up with banning orders, fines and even custodial sentences having damaged rather than helped the cause (those who think 'Div 3 game disrupted' would be headline news are not living in the real world).

But I do share the sense of wanting to do more so I started to look for campaign ideas. Irrespective of what you think of his politics, Peter Tatchell is undoubtedly very successful and certainly brave. He aims to be non-violent and act within the law but he goes for his targets fearlessly doing things like citizens arrests etc. I'm still incensed with Labovitch's behaviour at the SCG. So how - in a non violent and legal way - could an approach be taken that puts Labo in the limelight and makes things in relation to CCFC a bit more awkward for him?

Sorry Michael but do not agree with you.
You have done some great things but not with you on this one.
Or plight is desperate and at times things need to happen that may break the law or are unlawful. Not advising it but it sometimes needs more than a polite letter.

Stop trying to be nice and go back to being a pain in the ass to these people.

The reason is the SCG meeting from all accounts was just a vehicle that day for having a go at the trust in general and Steve in particular and Steve was really backed up by people on the SCG who represent who exactly? Of course there are City fans who have links with the council they are the citys biggest employer

I can 100% assure you I have no connection with the council.
I have not met with the council and the only link I have is that of a ratepayer.
