It was a blatant penalty, obviously.
But to be fair to the ref I don't think he would be able to see that one with the angle it happened at.
It was a penalty yes but defend properly and not like clowns and we wouldn’t need to rely on a penalty also kitching should of scored before their winner so don’t blame the ref we only have ourselves to blame .It was a blatant penalty, obviously.

Its weird cos lino called the sending off as ref didnt see it.There's the lino as well.
It's most games now.
Clearly the managers message is getting lost in translation! It was a penalty yes but defend properly and not like clowns and we wouldn’t need to rely on a penalty also kitching should of scored before their winner so don’t blame the ref we only have ourselves to blame .
I'd like you to look at post 249 on Ref.watch and see the ref. had a clear view of the defender pulling the shirt and EMC falling he couldn't possibly get his foot to the ball.My thoughts are that shot should be sent to the authorities and ask for their comments. It was a blatant penalty, obviously.

No.Will we appeal the red?
I may be wrong but, from the highlights, it looks as if we were on the attack - a cross comes in from our right - and Thomas, who is up in the attack is jostled and brought down by their defender. The attack fails and the ball is cleared upfield and the altercation between Thomas and that defender then follows. As many have already said, Thomas should not have raised his hand but one can understand the frustration he would have felt had he been fouled as l saw it.Lino was opposite side, no way of seeing it, very clever from defender, he could easily see Thomas as there were only two players and was fully visible.
God no! Give me ref'ing mistakes any day over that shit.Give me VAR any day.
They are too incompetent they need the help.God no! Give me ref'ing mistakes any day over that shit.
I don't care how much they get it right or not, it ruins the game for everyone in the stadium who enjoys celebrating goals. They are too incompetent they need the help.
VAR can work if you get the right people operating and interpreting it.
To each his own but it ruins the game for me watching my team suffer from ridiculous decisions that could be overturned by someone with a camera and a brain.I don't care how much they get it right or not, it ruins the game for everyone in the stadium who enjoys celebrating goals.
VAR is for people who watch football on TV or politely clap in the stadium after a goal.
Definitely a pen.
I haven’t seen a replay of it but can someone explain why EMC’s goal, following the header from Thomas was ruled out please?
That's football though, and has been since the dawn of time. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. I'm not someone who thinks it balances out over a season, especially for a team like us - but it's the game we all fell in love with.To each his own but it ruins the game for me watching my team suffer from ridiculous decisions that could be overturned by someone with a camera and a brain.
Was it a foul?Because it was Simms. And for a foul by Thomas.
If it was then it was abh on emc.Was it a foul?
Was it a foul?
Didn’t think so.
Give me VARGive me VAR any day.
Not for me. But their player threw himself down in a way that convinced the referee. For me that's probably just as bad as, if not worse than, diving for a penalty. Was it a foul?

I agree I don’t think it was a foul. But the difficulty for refs is players try to con them. Eccles gets us a lot of fouls because he goes down with the slightest contact from behind or the side. Sakamoto against Ipswich threw himself to the floor like a rag doll after losing control of the ball. Unfortunately for him the Ipswich player pulled out of the tackle. The ref didn’t speak to him but certainly gave him a disapproving look.
At corners we do our fair share of holding and blocking off.
Yes and has to stop as he never got a few at Birmingham fucking players do my head in jumping to the ground for fuck all.I agree I don’t think it was a foul.
