and for anyone associated with an amatuer rugby side in the city....they are going all out on filling the stadium for this first game. All of which is bad news for CCFC.Where's the nearest Ricoh facility and how many people do they employ locally?
I suppose if rugby wasn't crap then it would be quite a nice deal.
I thought that for years but especially in the last 10 years as football has been dogged by cheating, diving, time wasting, petulance, too much money and appalling refs I've started to enjoy more a sport where you feel that the players always give 100%, your value for money as a spectator is very often better and there is a lot more happening on the pitch and if there isn't you can always fetch a quick pint back to your seat. Cov City have always been my first love but there are alternatives for me now.

Or is football for failed rugby stars?Sorry but rugby is a game for people who can't play football
Do ccfc season ticket holders and/or members get discounted tickets? Seems everyone else does
Or is football for failed rugby stars?
Let's face it they put more balls above the crossbar rather then below it.
MGI Fiduciary Services (Malta) will obviously be anxious for their franchise to succeed.
If they can make money from it then no doubt they ll be wanting other ''sports franchises'' such as an EPL team at the Ricoh.
SISU have a very limited lease (2+2) with MGI Fiduciary. After that, MGI could try to franchise any PL team.
I hope this latest franchise is a failure.
if you'd seen the practice warm up last night ,It was unbelievable how many went over .
IIRC there was a free kick opportunity for them which was skied ,josh and I joked they thought Wasps had left the Sticks up.
