Hey guys! Its that time of week again, but Sports Lounge will be a little different this week. Until the end of the month at least, we will be a 2 hour show! Its a trial run to see how the ratings are so hopefully it will be a full-time change, but for the next 3 weeks at least, we will be on air from 10AM-12 Noon on Thursdays. For this week's Cooks Question, we want to know 'Which transfer do you think has failed to live up to expectations?'. This comes after Chuba Akpom has AGAIN chose to play for Arsenal in an FA Youth Cup match rather than start for the sky blues at Gillingham on Tuesday. This can be from any team in any league. Whichever player you feel has disappointed the most. Maybe Maroune Fellaini at Manchester United? Fernando Torres at Chelsea? Or on a lower level, Roy O'Donovan? All answers welcome. This week we will also be talking about the new F1 season amongst other things, so if you would like to register an opinion on any topic brought up on the show, get in touch via Twitter (@Hillz_SL) and we'll read out your comments and give you a shout out. Thanks for your continued support guys! Really couldn't do it without you

People I have spoke to have outlined Freddy Eastwood and Roy O'Donnovan as crap signings. Anyone agree?

Came in here wanting to see Freddy Eastwood mentioned. I'll back out quietly satisfied.

If you put the context of how much we paid for them - Eastwooe, Kyle, Mckenzie have got to be up there, as has Bellamy.

Then you've got players like Keith O'Neill and Tim Sherwood who came and spent most of their time injured and contributed nothing.

Actually, come to think of it, it would be a shorter thread trying to name the good signings.

Worst big money signing ever made by Coventry City has to be Roger Van Goole which at £250000 was the equivalant of a few million today. Gary Collier at £360000 was a disaster too but atleast we got most of that back when we transferred him to Washington Diplomats

I remember Sandy Robertson joining in the '90s amongst a hullabaloo of being a promising Ranger's starlet; only to play less times than I have fingers on my 'leisure hand', and look incompetent in so doing.

Am I just being Scottish-racist on this thread? Must be the prospect of them planning to take their North Sea oil back....

Hmmmm, good Scottish players turning out for City in my lifetime.

- Gary McAllister - Even then, that was only really for 30% of his time at the club.
- ......

I can't even think of a second one.

To be fair Robo, I never saw him put in a bad performance in a Cov shirt. I think you're being a little harsh there!!!

Weren't Washington Diplomats the club jimmy hill invested quite a sum of ccfc's money in ?
Think we lost quite a bit of cash there, and probably got very little if anything for Collier

Mr Kyle?

And yes, I think his daytime TV namesake would have been the wiser signing

CCFC signing over Highfield Road

CCFC signing for the 1.2m rental agreement.

Collier was a disaster, never forget his first game at Forest... had a nightmare... it continued for the rest of the season

Chris Chilton was a pretty bad buy, 27 games, 3 goals b4 pro career ended by back problem.

£92K in 1971, a big fee.

Which one was his good game? I remember watching him away at Blackpool and can honestly say it was the worst performance Ive ever seen in a city shirt

you have to go for players who we paid big fees for. Chris Chilton, Van Goole and Collieras mentioned, Bobby Graham, but there is another who takes the biscuit who I forgot about. This bloke is possibly the worst I have witnessed yet Bobby (super city fan) Gould splashed £365000 at a time when we had no money for one LEIGH JENKINSON absolutely dire, have never heard just what that idiot seen in him

Withdraw this post forthwith -during his time at City, the Leigh Jenkinson stepover was one of the few things that I have seen made grown men burst out laughing at during a game (save the odd falling over, comical own goal). That said, he was a tad sh*te!

I didn't think Scowcroft was that bad as a target man - really strong in the air - just thought we couldn't get the right partner alongside him (forget who was about at the time)
