Motm for me today!!

Played his heart out all game. Had that right hand side covered I felt.

He's got that little terrier-like aggression that we are so lacking. Tudgay had to go and calm him down a few times and pull him away save him from getting into trouble.

Might be mistaken but think he also absolutely chopped someone tactically to stop the play when they were breaking and we need more of that ruthlessness.

Also made me laugh when he went up against Beast for a header haha.

Happy guy tonight. Most success I've ever seen as a fan, born in 91

He's had it in all of the Checkatrade games, think it was West Ham when their player was twice as big but he wasn't going to back down for shit.

We are crying out for that. Even when we were winning our players were slumping around moody and not looking like they gave a shit. I'm sure they did but it's just the impression they give.
Lameiras is the same he has that fire. Shame he's dog shit

Was half the height of their left winger but beat him all ends out in the air most of the time. Ram his heart out. And to think Sterry was played week in week out whilst he was left rotting in the u21s!
Harries my MOTM but DKE was a very close second!

That winger in the first half didn't like it against DKE, on the floor he was losing most things.

If Turnbull could jump and head like DKE he would be a far better player

He was excellent. However he's only contracted until the end of the season, so ideally the club need to sort something out or I could see a higher up League One club/Championship club signing him up

They targeted him the second half and he tried his heart out with not much cover or protection and excelled.

I said to my mate we've got a player in this lad. One of those who when he's against you hate the little so and so.
I thought he was MOTM last night as well.

I do also feel that he could okay higher up the pitch. Foley at right back and DKE in front of him on the right if midfield I think would give us great strength there.

He does like to get forwards and does have some skill about him.

If Foley is back in for Saturday I really think Slade should consider it.

One of the few you can say gives his all for the shirt in every game.
Said a few times what he lacks in height he gives in passion and desire. Mental strength too which is rare in this side.
MOTM for me last night.
One of the few I'd retain for next year.

I agree with that, but first and foremost and full back needs to be able to defend. Played a big part in the first goal as well remember.

Stirling display! Wycombe targeted him as a weakness because of his height and threw 2 big fuckers against him and he held up admirably , he won more headers than our centre backs did and he was also a terrier and really pissed off their left wing back. I thought he was my Man of the Match. I hope he keeps his place on Saturday cos I think Foley at right back is rubbish.

I'd probably play that whole team in the league

No, I would definitely out Clarke in for Harries and if Folivi is fit, him for TUDGAY!

Then would also have Stevenson over Rose in the centre any day of the week.

Agree apart from Beavon?! Thought he was one of our best players and noticed when he came off big time

Sorry, massive faux pas from me. Meant Folivi for Tudgay. Good God I wouldn't leave Beavon out at all.

Will edit that sharpish!!

Really rate the lad. So much effort from him last night and he has a bit of quality to boot.
