"Through Ken's efforts, there have been significant improvements. We have seen the integration of the Academy and the first team. Player contract extensions with flexible terms have been put in place, and the ultimate value of our squad has risen. The Club is now more prepared for the implementation of the Football League's financial fair play regulations, through the reduction of losses which Ken has achieved."

did we have a choice of "integrating the academy"???? They are our only option and the value of our squad has increased??? What planet are these people on?!?!?!?!?!

So now the infastructure at the club has been totaly destroyed by the Orange One, they move the twat side ways to concentrate on Thorny and team matters. Sorry folks but this is going from bad to worse, one hopes this is the prelude to them all fecking off. PUSB:blue::blue:

With the Jan transfer coming up i need to concentrate on team matters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Selling agian then, we are stripping the team ready for league 1, so i suggest KD you haven't done anything other than kill the club for the fans.. As what money you have saved will now be eaten up by relegation into the league below around 5mill,,, so stop the BS and admit the club maybe paying alot less in wages but it is the weakest team we have had since being in the championship....

Bell, Baker, Macpake on contracts.... Do not replace King, Gunny and Turner who is one of the best CB in the league,, also if you know this much about football how much did you get for Turner 500.000-750.000 ,,,, God help us......

Does this mean that John Clarke is now acting Chairman ?

Not sure KD not being chairman makes much difference in reality

It will be interesting to see who steps forward as this local businessman to be chairman but I wouldnt mind betting it ends up being Clarke ....... already in place, local, suddenly a bit more prominent etc :thinking about:

Does this make a differance?
Is this the thursday 1st news from the other thread.
Didn't wingy put something like could be worse could be better depends how you look at it news or do we thing that is something differant?
Could it be KD is going to watch AT for a couple of weeks and take over as manager (not really just messing surely there not that crazy .
Could this be a way of ken slowely slipping a way for the otium thing?
Something is afoot as this is sisu and it's never going to be straight forward, solving who Jack the Ripper was would be easier than trying to unravel the minds of sisu.

Quality. This deserves it's own "suggest a nickname before anyone even arrives in the job" thread.

:facepalm:Its funny because, only the other day, I was thinking "What we really need is a Head of Footballing Operations but its a shame Ken can't do it"

And then I though, "Why not make Clarke chairman as he made such a good go of it last time"

See... It was all so obvious!

There are many ways to interpreted this:

1) The board recognize dealing with the local community is the only way to gain support for a merger between the club and the stadium.
2) The board recognize the only way to halt the sisu out movement is by putting up a local face as front.
3) The board recognize the team need some serious changes in the next window and therefore one man must be assigned 100% to the task.
4) KD and the board dissagree on the next strategic move and so he is moved aside.
5) KD have been unsuccessful in bringing in new investors and is demoted and moved aside.

Or maybe all of the above ...

Somethings afoot as nothing is as simple as "oh just move ken down to take a more active role in team affairs and see how we can improve the situation we have found ourselves in"
"Ken have a look at what AT is upto and see if we as the owners of the club could help the position we find our team in, you know the one, the one we finance, see how how we could help get the thing we invested in higher up the league (we think that's what its called)"

1) not a chance, even they couldn't think that
2) puts SISU more firmly in control, no pretence of independent chairman: they say he will be ceo
3) 100% of not a lot is still not a lot of time
4) PROBABLE: as 2 above.
5) Possible as well.

I can confirm that he has tweeted it. It's on the shared feed of him and Andy Gray.
Basically the jist is, "This time last year 29k fans vs Leeds, CCFC in freefall. Ch (chairman?) resigns but stays as DOF - it's a farce. Bid in place for takeover. Back Gary Hoffman"

this is what he's posted. something very strange going on at CCFC, too many changes being made (Clouting, Brody and now Ken) for there not to be something fairly major happening. it was only a few weeks ago Ken was talking about how much harmony there was in the boardroom!
