To be fair, proper rivalries are great and Leicester v Coventry should be a natural fierce rivalry really, but neither club has really ever been at the same level for alot of their histories and Leicester are finished as a club promotion or not while Coventry are obviously on the rise so we may not play them for years as they eventually will be languishing in L1 or L2 once all the FFP punishment bites while we establish ourselves in the upper echelons of the Premier League so this rivalry will never really take off.

So you don't ever see the social media posts where Leicester fans say they don't care about us, we're beneath them, their rivals are Derby and Forest. And we're the ones pushing a rivalry onto them. Then they come out with this shit

No i dont pay much attention to social media per se usually, and in terms of Leicester i know full well they have long had an inferiority complex to Coventry which we saw in the build up to both our matches with them season when their fans were more 'up for it' in the build up than we were. As to Leicester fans, despite what they say, we are their local derby, whereas for us V@lla are and for most in Coventry ,Leicester isnt that local either, its a good 40 minute drive. I think a bigger proportion of Leicester fans are to the south of Leicester as many to the north actually support Nottingham Forest, Nottingham Forest being a far bigger club of course with their history of 2 European Cups.So you don't ever see the social media posts where Leicester fans say they don't care about us, we're beneath them, their rivals are Derby and Forest. Of course, Leicester fans embarrass themselves when the try and argue Derby are a bigger rival, when Derby are in L1 lol.
If we were in Leicester's current position, i too would be envious of a club in our position who is local to us as its blatantly obvious what is coming for both clubs within the next 2 years. Hence their new found hatred of us. In some ways we should pity them really.
