I mean he was invisible second half like but

I Saw something that absolutely fucking infuriated me today btw

Eccles threw his hands up in a fucking paddy when he saw it was Torp being subbed off, not him

He's Cov kid, and we would all die to be in his position, to wave your arms around and stamp about like a little bitch because he didn't fancy carrying on really fucking grated me

I don't have time for things like that. As I'm sure all of us as fans wouldn't

Sure he wasn't annoyed it wasn't Rudoni

As for him being anonymous, he's the only midfielder I can recall winning a tackle and touching the ball in the second half.

I didn’t see that to be honest but would fuming if so. We used to have such a great belief in previous years that we wouldn’t give up. What the fuck has happened to it.

I think that is a big assumption. There are many reasons he may have reacted that way.

I feel like a bit of a dickhead for posting it when no one else seemingly seen it, I promise I haven't made it up as my lad sat next to me also said the same

Maybe he was annoyed he had a knock and asked to come off or something but it didn't sit right with me whatsoever

Who knows, to be honest it’s more worrying it’s completely believable.

I saw it. But thought he was suggesting it was the wrong player being subbed off or on.

I would agree with you if that was what he was wanting. He just doesn't seem to be a person who wants to down tools. If he does then that is extremely worrying.

I find it almost impossible to believe any player would throw their hands up because they weren't subbed off.

I thought he was shouting something to the bench, personally. More in frustration about how the game was going.

That was my interpretation but being the other side of the pitch it’s difficult to tell what went on.

Again, he may have had a knock and asked to come off, he may have been pissed off at the subs that were made

But I know what I saw (and other have confirmed theyve seen it too on here) and it was Eccles, throwing his arms about and losing his shit the second he saw Torp for Allen

He clearly wasn't gesturing because he couldn't be bothered to keep playing, what a stupid thing to say.

If I'm thinking of the correct incident, I'm pretty sure he was talking to Boateng on the touch-line - Boateng was instructing for the players/Eccles to do something and Eccles was having some kind of disagreement with him.

That may well be the case and maybe unfortunate timing that it happened at the same time as the Torp substitution

But I'm just glad other people saw it

Isn’t that exactly the sort of time when exchanges between coaches and players will happen, when play has stopped and won’t be restarted until the sub has been made? You are reading far too much in to it.

So you saw him having an argument with the bench and just assumed/made up it was because he wanted to be subbed ?!! Bizarre take

Ps he was running an overlap and winning corner four mins into injury time.

I did he pretended he was playing and can pass a ball. Even Rochdale wouldn't have him.

Why just make up something like that. You have no idea what so ever what he was saying.
probably annoyed they were not re- enforcing the midfield, which was being overrun.
Norwich changed tactics in the second half, and took complete control. And our coaches didn’t seem to have a clue what to do.

Can't comment on the hands in the air thing, but he put in a huge shift today. Formation looked almost like 4-1-4-1 at times, putting a lot of responsibility on him, and he looked exhausted in the last 15 or 20 mins.

honestly this baffles me. Same as the caller after the match who was screaming for Taveres to start..

honestly what were you watching? what did he contribute? were you actually watching that they were bypassing our midfield at every single opportunity?

Eccles doesn’t score goals. I get slated moaning about his defensive work because i constantly get told he’s “not a defensive midfielder” but he also doesn’t assist.

so i ask back. what is he good at doing exactly? Besides the odd diagonal and backwards pass?

I saw him throw his arms up but thought there was a missed pass before hand so was part of the game.

Thought both Eccles and Torp did well first 30 minutes. Torp tired fairly quickly. Eccles needs more help in there.
