nice man , asked me questions about the club and the direction we have taken under the current regime , will be available in a couple of weeks .

Interesting he said to me that charlton and Blackpool fans (both have done previous interviews with him) said Coventry city is the worst ran professional club in the country .
Dion Dublin and the final score panel unanimously agreed today that Coventry city are the worst run club in the country .

I truly believe that whatever the end game is for Coventry city and SISU , we need to force it (or try)

I understand fans believe that the team on the pitch will take a hit if fans boycott season tickets , but isn't that what's happening anyway ?? Aren't we just delaying the inevitable by continuing to invest ??
We were told that with more bums on seats , with more ST sales , that more money would be put on the pitch , that happened and yet the budget was cut further or if you believe Mark (I'm only here for the houses ) Venus , roughly the same , we are being lied to and shafted at every given opportunity .

I believe everybody is entitled to do as they please , but come on enough is enough , let's try and force action from these parasites .

PS : don't shoot the messenger but rose may not be here come the end of January

The club died a few years back for me. The clincher was Northampton.

I can't see how the club can recover. Mainly because the ageing fan base is fed up with the continual bullshit on and off the pitch. Once they leave it will be hard to get them back.

FFS bean counters who don't realise or care that the PPG average is much higher when he plays.
PS Contract up in summer, I guess there are no pay rises by staying. Same may apply for Stokes.

If the club died a few years back in your eyes why would it matter if we went on a 1000 game winning run.

The same reason I stood outside the newsagents waiting for the Pink to arrive when I was a kid.
Being given my first Sky Blue shirt in 67. Turning a Liverpool one down.
Smirking at a classmate wearing a Wolves shirt.
Jimmy Hill,
Ian Wallace Mick Ferguson, Etc.
5-4 against Norwich Penalties, etc,
Being beaten up by the Villa as a 15 year old..on The Kop. .we drew 2-2 on a Tuesday night in 78? and 10 of em jumped me...cowards.
Travelling away in the cup.
0-0 Derby County 1974 Sunday game. 40k in Highfield Rd.

0-0 QPR the next cup match. Helping my dad decorate and listening to us lose 3-2 in the replay.

West Ham in the League Cup....Garry Thompson.

I only stopped reading papers after the EU referendum , then continued to unfollow all news outlets on Facebook after the US election .
Irrespective of my views on either situation , the bias and blatant scheming was enough to make me realise the media can't be trusted to report impartially anymore .
So I save the anger

I'm on the fence regarding not going because, as lots have said, the club is working to a budet supposedly set by us (ie. bums on seats, money in budget). But you're right about them changing the goal posts, we were topping their target last season until they said they'd made a mistake.

We have to look at why they made their last big decision - moving us back to the Ricoh.
Was it the negative publicity of the march?
Was it because we were losing shead loads of money with low gates?
Probaby both, though cashing in on players would have eased the cash flow.

I would imagine the last thing SISU need is more proof of how useless they are managing this venture. The Guardian piece will hopefully stoke more fuel to the fire, so we need to take every opportunity to publicise our plight:

It won't be watched by millions, but the Sheff Utd game on Sky will probaby be our last chance for a while to get something across on live TV. Perhaps something needs organising officiallly by the Trust (I say the Trust as they're the only ones who seem to have some official recognition by the media and the club). A major specticle of a march to the stadium/demo outside/flags and banners inside etc etc (I'd take my kids muppets and throw them on the pitch!)....other than Genoa Vs Florintina, I think its the only game on that night, perhaps a good opportunity to make some back page headlines.

See you at the EDL march in a few years.

However biased you think journalists are, untrained morons with an axe to grind are twice as bad.

The trick is to learn how to filter information, not to run off with your fingers in your ears.

I don't like saying this but the truth of it is I am finding it really hard to give a shit anymore.

Perhaps it's because i have lived away from Cov for so long now and can't get to every home game as i once did.............. but the constant merry go round of underperformance and off-field shenanigans is just so fucking boring and tedious that i find myself increasingly less interested. I look for our results after the games now instead of avidly refreshing the text commentary and when we lose..........well it's not as painful as it used to be.

When i go to watch one of my local non-league teams with mates, we all enjoy the game, have a pint and a laugh, if the local team wins its great, if we lose we still had a good day out and we commiserate over a few more pints. It's honest, simple and it's cheap. I don't get that same thrill when they win because they aren't my team but i have to admit it's a lot more fun.
