Has anyone bagged any of the Black Friday free beer from Dhillons? I presume they'll send some details to when you can collect as all I got was an order confirmation.

if it's the ghosttown or Sky Blue lager then free is still a bit too much

It's a mixed hamper, 12 cans. I had Ghosttown and SBL in the past, couldn't give the stuff away when people came round. It's awful.

I haven't ordered any so no idea how you get it.

I used to like the beer in the Tavern but since going to the brewery a lot more, a lot of it is like piss water and much more expensive.

Exactly, as I said free is a bit pricey for GT and SBL

It's weird that as they have got bigger, a lot of their beer tastes more like homebrew than it used to. Maybe they used to care more.

Saw they gave out free beer for life to the players who won the cup in ‘87. Benno will drink them dry in a month.

To be fair Sky Blue Lager being out of date and shit is pretty on brand right now. Maybe they can rework the formula in Jan.

I think I've managed 5 tins so far, I didn't check the dates but I will this evening. I enjoyed a Heife Maize but the others weren't great. I don't like to moan about free stuff, but jeez they haven't done themselves any favours with this crap tbh.
