Anyone else watching this on Netflix? Bloody good stuff! Just sat and watched about 6 episodes straight through! Keifer Sutherland as US President who took job after a bomb killed loads in the Capitol Building, including President and Vice President. Won't say any more, but it's good edge-of-the-seat stuff!

It got cancelled in the US after season 2 but Netflix picked it up for season 3 as it does so well for them overseas.

How come you didn't post a thread about it Nick? You're usually very good at finding stuff to watch.

I thought Series 1 was brilliant, edge-of-your-seat drama. Series 2 lost that for me (went all a bit "House of Cards" - don't know when to finish), so haven't seen it since.

Agree with this. Loved S1, S2 was a little bit meh.

Yes same for me...S1 excellent...a little different and solid performances from all the cast. S2 a little boring in comparison.

I get what you're saying but it would be hard to keep going with the types of story they were telling in S1. It would either get very repetitive or be so far fetched it would be laughable.

Yeah. Not impressed so far.

Far too convoluted and also a bit dull.

Trying to cram in too much and too many new characters too quickly.

On episode 3, so hoping it picks up.

I didn't care too much for season 2 anyway.

Am on the 5th episode. Much improved now, but I am not happy about the new major political crisis that comes up each single episode and is seemingly resolved within each single episode.

On the subject of films. A mate of mine is a film buff and he was surprised when I told him I've never seen a Batman movie. As he has watched them all and told me they are good. So he borrowed me one called The Dark Knight and watched it last night. Got to say I enjoyed it plenty of action, even though I didn't have a clue what the story line was about. The Joker was awesome !
