Hyam had a very easy ball to Dabo down the right side, instead chose to play a poorly placed ball back to Kelly while being closed down, that one pass is 100% the reason why we conceded when we did.
It happens in game after game, sometimes for us sometimes against us, he fucked up, we conceded, nothing you can do but move on try n forget about it and hope it dosnt happen again ;)
Lol.

But it does keep happening with Hyam, someone on here said he is a liability with the ball at his feet and I totally agree, he lets himself get closed down because he dawdles on the ball usually ending up with a lofted ball forward straight to the opposition but his outballs in general are piss poor. As I said before a decent defender and he has saved us with some last ditch defending on numerous occasions but he is one of our weakest centre backs and slow too, its ok well perhaps not ok but understandable for any player to make a mistake but Hyam does cost us a few goals every season which is too regular now

The point is though it went from Derby to the other side of the pitch. Dabo has little pace but Maatsen does. It was his area to stop the cross. Look where O Hare is and how he made up ground and Maatsen did not

He was waiting to receive the ball. Also he is not quick. Maatsen is far quicker.

Just slightly off topic, I thought Derby were given special dispensation by the EFL to sign Baldock whilst Kazim-Richards
was injured, but since he came on as sub does that mean they have get rid of Baldock now?

Positional expectation though. It’s only fair to expect Dabo to be at the back post if you’re going to expect Maatsen to stop the cross. Both are on a light jog and pretty much all of the defence dealt awfully with the goal, wing backs too.

Nah just blame Hyam lol. To be fair the pass he goes for is so not on

You can blame Hyam for a pass that wasn't on as it led to the goal, but so many other players are fortunate during the game that do similar passes that are not on, but by fortune or luck it doesn't result in a goal
