Given the gaffer the tin tack. Wouldn't surprise me if McClaren is the favourite for the job!

I think he is a good coach but not sure where he goes from there.

Surely they've done it now so that they can get Rowett before he goes to Norwich!?

Norwich is the better job out of those two but mad Pardew is the favourite for that.

Madness, I think Derby have got a number of flaky players. The same thing keeps happening to them. Reading comments on twitter it sounds like their downturn in form has coincided with Keogh being injured!

Not sure where the 'mcclaren is a good coach' comes from. One of the luckiest guys around I think. Keeps failing and living off the back of uniteds treble winning side where his input into already the best and most gifted group of players/manager was minimal. Never understood the jobs hes been offered.

Think it's more his judgement of which jobs to take that's flawed rather than his actual abili9ty.

Did well at Middlesbrough, England job was too early for him.

Did well at twente, should never have jumped to Wolfsburg.

Did well at Derby first time out, who in their right mind would jump to Newcastle then?

Got sacked as much because he was eyeing up Newcastle though.
